Hi stampers! Happy Friday! This week has flown by with Ian starting back to school and a few other things on the agenda! Not enough time for stamping but I'll get there! Anyway, it's time for another challenge over at Fab Friday! We have a sketch for you:
I kept mine really simple because...well, see above paragraph ;-)
But I think it turned out really, really cute! And I know I need to stop it with the Christmas cards, but I just CAN'T! I LOVE the plaid and the little star paperclip accents!
Make sure to play along with us, we'd love to see what you'd create. And don't forget to check out the rest of the team's designs, they are fab!
Hi stampers! It's Fancy Friday Time! We are a group of friends and both current and former Stampin' Up Artisan Design Team members who come together once a month to knock your socks off ;-)
This month's theme is all about the bundles! Our Annual Catalog is just filled to the brim with cute bundles that coordinate seamlessly to make the cutest projects! You can get a stamp set and either a punch or framelits for 10% off when you buy them in the bundle! Who doesn't love cute and a discount????
I chose Animal Outing because I haven't used it enough and it's amazingly cute!
I actually kept my projects rather simple but that's because I wanted the focus to be on the awesome embossed backgrounds! I used the framelits and our Embossing Mats to add some interest and texture.
You can check out the process here in this video!
I posted a video recently using the mats in shapes that were cut out but I wanted to make one for the backgrounds as well, where nothing is actually cut out.
For this card, I colored my giraffes using the Mango Melody Blends markers. I think it makes the prefect giraffe color! A few branches from the die set in Call Me Clover are the perfect finishing touch.
For my rhino card, I also colored him and his little friend with my Blends. I think that background is so cool! Isn't it just a fun texture? You can see in the video how I lined them up twice.
Do you have this bundle and/or the embossing mats yet? If not, you totally should! Now it's time to hop on over and see my amazingly talented friend Marisa! You're going to love what she did with her bundle!
Hi stampers! Happy hump day! This week is flying by! As a stay at home mom, we aren't always very busy but the last two days have been pretty packed. I'm hoping today is a little bit more low key and I can catch up on stuff around the house and maybe stamp! Of course, Ian has an activity in the evening and then we have small group starting up again so the evening will be nuts, lol! Oh well, Ill take what I can get!
I sat down to stamp this past weekend and wanted to make sure I pulled out Beautiful Baubles! I LOVE this stamp set! I love vintage ornaments and this was perfect! I have a whole Pinterest board devoted to them so I looked around for some color inspiration. I pulled out my blends (and hope I remember the colors for the supply list lol) and colored them all in!
It's hard to see in the photo but I added Wink Of Stella for some sparkle! A little bit of glimmer paper and it was finished! I love how cute but simple it is!
Hi stampers! Happy Tuesday! It's the big guy's first day of school for this year! Whoohoo! Hopefully that means I'll have more time to stamp but we all know how fast time goes! Anyway, speaking of him, he's loving getting snocones at a local place here and I love them too! One of my favorite combos is grape and lime so I threw them together on this card! ;-) And it's NOT from the Holiday Catalog!
I stamped my background and then spritzed it and I think it looks a bit like you dropped some snocone :-) My sentiment is embossed and watercolored (I think I used retired black ink, whoops). And those glitter dots are SO yummy!
