HSS 131

Hi stampers! Happy Tuesday!  It's time for another challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments!  And if you're looking for the Artisan Finalist blog hop just scroll down one post!  I had to make this post today, sorry!  This week is a vintage theme!

I love vintage cards which is funny because when it first became popular a few years ago I was not a fan...and then I succumbed to peer pressure, ha!  This card was inspired by a sample in the new catalog.  I just love those tiny label punches and the matching stamp set! How cute!!!!!!????

Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps:  Lovely little labels, papaya collage
Paper:  Very vanilla baja breeze, midnight muse, summer starfruit
Ink:  Soft suede, baja breeze, midnight muse, summer starfruit
Accessories:  Neutrals glimmer brads, linen thread, vintage wallpaper embossing folder, little labels punch pack, apothecary accents framelits

Looks like a lot of fussy cutting but really that frame is pretty easy to cut out.  Other than that it was just lots of sponging.  One detail you may not be able to see really well is that I crumpled up a few of the little punches to make them look a bit more weathered.

Now head on over to HSS and see what the rest of the ladies came up with!  Then play along with us!

Happy stamping!

  4. That's a beautiful vintage card! My favorite part is the Framelits peeking out from both sides with the glimmer brads. And funny you should mention the peer pressure, I started out all shabby chic and paper pieces (which I still do a lot) but bent to the Clean and Simple pressure that is so hot now :) LOL It's a relief, actually! I really love that stamp and punch set too, and that Thanks on the banner is too cute! Erika

Thanks for your comments. I probably won't respond unless you ask a direct question (because I know my limits, lol) but I read and appreciate every single one <3
