If Life Gives You Lemons...

Hi stampers!  So I've had a lemonade card on my to do list for most of the summer.  I finally got around to making one of them last week and it's funny because I just saw another demo friend post an almost identical one this week...great minds!  She used the Mason Jar, which is the second one that was on my list but I didn't get around to just yet :-)

The background on this one was yet again, a happy accident.  I tried to make it with one of our decorative masks but it didn't turn out like I'd planned.  It still works though!  And don't let the name Pineapple Punch fool you, it makes great lemons, too!

I inked my lemon up with Pineapple Punch and then used a sponge dauber to add a little Mango Melody around the bottom edge for some depth.  I tried the rock and roll technique but I didn't like it.  My glass of lemonade is watercolored and looks a lot cooler in real life with it being lighter colored as you go up the glass.  Remember, these framelits aren't just for coffee!

This is the perfect summer card as we're over here roasting in the heat!
