For today, the star of the show is this new background stamp, Buffalo Check. Plaid is so in for fall and I LOVE this stamp! I tried to resist this Falling For Leaves set because it kind of looks like a previous set, but I just couldn't. The samples in the catalog made me buy it :-) Does that happen to you???? It's actually a bundle and has some really cool dies that coordinate!
See that sparkly little scallop strip, I used one of the border dies in the bundle to cut it out, they are so fun! And then new glimmer paper is fantastic! NO shedding! And the colors in the Holiday Catalog are gorgeous!

I'm interested in the "graininess" of your buffalo check image; I'd be hoping for a super-rich, crisp and clear image. There have been some online discussions about that stamp. To each his/her own, I guess!
ReplyDeleteWell, I was just messing around with the stamp the day I made this and I didn't ink it well or stamp it all that great lol! I really need to reink my pad and the Stamparatus would help get a more saturated image. I kind of liked my half you know what attempt just for a rustic look! I need play around with it some more but I think it will stamp pretty well if done the right way. I literally just inked it up and pressed it to some paper for a few seconds.
