Stampin Up 2018 Occasions & SAB Display Stamper Hop - Day 2

Hi stampers!  Welcome to the second day of our display sample hop!  If you didn't check it out yesterday, you NEED to go back!  So much cute stuff!

I kind of shared a lot of projects yesterday, I forgot we have a full week to share lol!  So, I better cut back a little so I don't run out of stuff to show you ;-)  Today I'm continuing with the Magical Day set and the Myths and Magic Suite because it's so dang cute!

Unicorns are so popular right now so I'll share a couple of cards with them!  This DSP was a bit overwhelming for me but I think as a background, it works really well!  The unicorns are really sparkly in real life in this specialty DSP.   I stamped my sentiment twice and hand cut the banner out and popped it up on dimensionals.

I colored this one with my blends.  I added a little Wink of Stella round her spots but my thread is covering it.  It also got a little frayed on the trip to SLC and back, whoops.  Do you notice that pretty washi tape???  It's pretty fabulous!  My sentiment is from a totally different set but it works perfect!

Now you're ready to hop on over to Charlet, she's going to blow you away!  And make sure to come back all week to see what we have for you!

Happy stamping!

Stampin Up 2018 Occasions & SAB Display Stamper Hop - Day 1

Hi stampers!  I'm so excited to share with you today and to hop with some of my fellow display stampers from the recent OnStage events!

I'm always so honored when I get to be a display stamper not only because I get to inspire you with brand new things, but because it's always so great to see what other super talented people do...and to get to meet them at the event!  So, sit back and hop all around the world with us and see some new things from the upcoming Occasions and Sale A Bration catalogs!  We'll be hopping all week!

And yes, it's pains me to not be sharing Christmas right now (ha) but I wanted to get my display samples shared!

I'm starting with the Magical Day stamp set.  If I'm being honest, I haven't always been the biggest fan of the sets for displays (although they tend to grow on me when I use them) but this one is perfect for me because it has a dragon and Ian LOVES dragons!  The Myths & Magic Suite is pretty cute!  Here's a few of my samples!

This is one of my favorites.  I colored this little knight with my Blends and I thought the little enamel heart was the perfect touch!  I also love this pattern of DSP, very manly!

I colored this mermaid straight away when I got the set which was like a day or two before I knew the Blends were coming so she's just regular watercolored. I did add some Wink of Stella to her scales which is really pretty in real life.  I wish that stuff would show up on camera better!   The DSP is pretty will some sparkle, too!

This wizard is also colored with my blends and I just love Picture Perfect Paper Ribbon.  It's part of another suite but it sure pairs perfectly with this one!  This is also another pattern in the Myths & Magic Designer Series Paper.

This one is probably tied for my favorite card.  I love this dragon since Ian loves them!  It's one of the first things I colored when I got my Blends markers as well.  I knew immediately I wanted to add some Embossing Paste bricks and combine it with the Myths & Magic 6 x 6  Glimmer Paper.  It's so pretty!  It does shed a lot though, my whole office is covered lol!  I may have set it aside and only pulled it out a few days before OnStage ;-)  But it's worth the shedding, it's gorgeous!

My last project today is this little treat bags.  You'll notice more glimmer paper and some cute little binder clips.  Those are also not from the M&M suite but again, they pair nicely.

I hope you enjoyed my projects, I have many, many more to share so make sure to come back!  And make sure to hop on over to see what Charlet has for you, it's going to be spectacular!

Quilted Christmas

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  As soon as I saw this set I knew I needed it!  Now, how long did it take for me to put it to good use?  Don't ask, lol!

But, I whipped up this pretty card a few weeks ago and I kind of LOVE it!  The color combo is to die for, I think!  Real read, old olive, bermuda bay, pool party, and emerald envy work perfectly together!  The stamp is super easy to stamp since it's photopolymer!

I love the bright colors against the white!  And I turned my embossed panel over.  I didn't like the way it looked right side up ;-)

(I'm falling asleep on the couch as I write this so I'll do the supply list later lol!)

Happy stamping!

Add basic black to the list, I forgot ;-)

Merry Little Labels Tags - Stampin' Up Global Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Hi stampers!  It's time for another awesome Artisan blog hop!  I cannot believe our year is almost up and they have announced the 2018 team (big congrats to all of you by the way, SO happy to see all your names at OnStage and I can't wait to see what you create) already!  WHERE did this year go?  I still can't believe I'm here and it's been such an honor to be a part of this amazing group.  It was also great to meet some of them (or see them again) last week in SLC.  How did we not get a group photo???

Anyway, onto the project at hand and enough of my emotional blathering :-)  We focused on the Merry Little Labels Stamp Set this time around.  It's such a cute little set!  My favorite stamp is the top right, I just think it's so cute!

I am forever scrambling to make some tags while I'm scrambling at the last minute to wrap gifts...are we seeing a pattern here? :-)  So, I thought for this hop, I'd get a head start and make some cute tags!

We have so many things to use on tags and I wanted to show you the variety you could get with both the coordinating Everyday Label Punch as well as other non-holiday items!

My no peeking tag uses the Celebration Thinlits, you know, the ones with the cute cake?  The Tag and tag overlay in that set of dies is perfect for any occasion!  And as a bonus, the punched shape fits perfectly on it!  I kept this one super simple with just a few Enamel Shapes so you can quickly make this tag if you're always in a hurry like me!

The special delivery tag uses the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  Do you have that punch?  I forget about it sometimes but it's so great.  You just cut your paper to 2 inches wide and can make a tag of any length!  I switched out the label punch for oval framelits here and added a doily and some burlap for my finishing touches.  Again, a super simple but super cute tag!

For my final tag, I combined some shapes, including the punch.  I think it adds a lot of visual interest to have three shapes and then the Boxwood Embellishment is perfect here!  I added some Clear Faceted Gems to tie in the "sparkles" from the DSP on my background and then a little 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon for some more shine!  My sentiment is heat embossed with white powder.

These tags came together super fast and are going to look great on my gifts this year!  I encourage you to make some of your own with this set!  It was so fun!  And maybe you won't be scrambling like I usually am ;-)

Now, head on over the the Netherlands and see what Miriam has in store for you, you're going to LOVE it!

My ONE Swap

Hi stampers!  I thought I'd show you the ONE swap I made for OnStage.  I don't really swap for a number of reasons (I don't need them, I don't like carrying them around, I don't like stressing about making them...the list goes on ha).  But, one of my favorite stampers and people asked if I'd have a card for him and I couldn't say no!

Brian is just the best so I made him this card that pretty much sums up how I feel about my friend (or all of my friends)!  And he's rocking his business to boot!

My diamond is really sparkly in real life with Wink of Stella.  I used a couple of thin layers so the ink didn't run after I colored it with my Blends (pool party).

I hope Brian loved it and I hope you do too!

Happy stamping!
