Hi stampers! I'm back with another group of display samples. Today we're going to focus on delightful dijon. I've heard from many people that they kind of despise this color! I have to say that I rather like it but I also loved summer starfruit, which people also tended to love or HATE ;-)
My first few projects are rather simple. I went simple because while I wanted to create WOW projects each and every time, I also wanted to do some really simple and easy projects that could be quickly and easily duplicated ;-)
So, onto my first card which uses the sitting here stamp set (the one with the porch swing), some super simple coloring with markers and that's pretty much it!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Sitting here
Paper: Very vanilla, tip top taupe, delightful dijon
Ink: Staz on, various markers for coloring
Accessories: None!
Next up is another simple card but I really like it! I used the sunburst and dots from kinda eclectic. I stamped the sunburst on the dijon base and then again on the white circle. It took a minute to line them up but you can do it if you just spin it a bit. I also really like the combination of dijon and black. It's bold without being overwhelming. It was a little plain so I added some rhinestones and they really stepped it up!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Kinda eclectic, sunburst sayings
Paper: Whisper white, basic black, delightful dijon, 2015-2017 in color DSP stack
Ink: Basic black, delightful dijon
Accessories: Basic rhinesones, 5/8" mini striped ribbon
Next up is a scrapbook page. Can I just say how excited I was for the first time doing stamping for SU that I FINALLY had my on kiddo to use pictures of!!!! :-D We went to the park back in November and I knew they would be the perfect photos to use with dijon! I also really like the cute little saying on the acorn as my "title" as I really am nuts about this guy ;-) It's also a great way to make a title...I think a lot of people get stuck on SB pages and thinking about traditional titles....Any sentiment stamp can be your title! My background patterns are with the perpetual birthday calendar stamp as well as the date.
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Acorny thank you, perpetual birthday calendar
Paper: Very vanilla, crumb cake, soft suede, delightful dijon
Ink: Delightful dijon, soft suede
Accessories: Metallic foil doilies, linen thread, acorn punch, 5/8" mini striped ribbon, handheld stapler
Finally, this is one of my favorite projects of all. The new in color ribbon is very nice! I just folded it up on itself and used my handheld stapler to hold it. Dijon and daffodil are maybe an unlikely pair but they work nicely together!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Sunburst sayings
Paper: Daffodil delight, delightful dijon, 2015-2017 in color DSP stack
Ink: Versamark, delightful dijon
Accessories: White embossing powder, basic rhinestones, sunburst thinlit, 5/8" mini striped ribbon
That's it for today! Make sure to check back for the final group!
Happy stamping!

Fab Friday 67
Hi stampers! Happy Friday! And happy 5th anniversary to me and Mr. Bada-Bing! Sadly I don't have a card made up for him but I'm sure he won't mind. But I do have a card for the Fab Friday challenge! A color challenge is up so why not celebrate the newest in colors! You can use just a few or all of them!
Please excuse the unedited and or small pictures. Since updating my iOS I haven't been able to get my editing software to work.
Here's my card!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Kinda eclectic
Paper: Whisper white, tip top taupe
Ink: Tip top taupe, watermelon wonder, cucumber crush, mint macaron, delightful dijon
Accessories: butterfly punches, basic pearls
I tend to focus on newer sets so it was a challenge to pull this set off my shelf but I'm happy I did! These colors don't immediately go together in my mind but really they do. And it's getting easier to put them together. I think they work exceptionally well with this set!
Now it's your turn to play along. Make sure to visit the site to check out all of the other DT inspiration and don't be afraid of these colors if they don't work for you right away, like me! Give it a shot!

Kraft Cardstock & Color Coach
Hi stampers! Ok, I know it's a K and three C's but that's a lot of alliteration :-) But I wanted to tell you about one of my new favorite items in the new catalog! The 12 x 12 kraft cardstock! It's seriously awesome! You get 12 sheets for $5.95 (item #133674) so that can go a long way!
It's a bit darker than our crumb cake cardstock, it's a bit more fibrous looking, and a bit heavier. As the picture from SU shows, it would make great die cuts. It would also be great for gift packaging and 3D items and I'm having fun stamping on it! It stamps really well! You can see that here in this card where I stamped on it with crumb cake and island indigo!

Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Kinda eclectic
Paper: Whisper white, Crumb cake, island indigo, kraft card stock
Ink: Island indigo, hello honey, tangelo twist
Accessories: Natural ribbon (retired, whoops), linen thread, very vintage designer buttons, basic rhinestones, elegant and bitty butterfly punches
I'm also loving the kinda eclectic stamp set! I tried to resist it but saw it was a convention set so I knew I'd be seeing fabulous stuff with it so I better get it so I wasn't UBER sad when convention rolled around :-)
And one more thing....this color combo....I would have never tried it had it not been on the color coach card! It's totally not a "me" combo but I LOVE it! The cards always have fresh and fun combos so make sure to grab them if you haven't already!
Happy stamping!

HSS 189
Hi stampers and happy Tuesday! And happy July! HOW can it be July? Little Baby Backes is due 30 days from today! Ohmygosh! I feel like I've been pregnant for about ever in one way but can't believe he's almost here in another! Granted, we did know much earlier than most people do but still!!!!! It's crazy that now when people ask when I'm due I can say THIS month :-) Guess that's why the dry cleaning lady said I was big the other day? LOL! Well lady I don't think I am but I am working on close to 9 months here ;-)
Anyway today is full of fun! First, customers can order the pre-order sets of blendabilities now! I've been having fun playing with these! I'll have some tips and projects to share soon I hope (still struggling to get in the stamping AND blogging and doing most of anything lol groove!). You can now get the skin tone set, coastal cabana, cherry cobbler, old olive, daffodil delight, rich razzleberry, and pumpkin pie now. The rest of the colors will be out on August 1. They really do make coloring easy and I'm so not a good colorer! Even my hubby complimented my work the other night! Also, buy any 3 packs of our DSP and get a fourth free through the end of the month! Not too shabby! All of these items are available in my online store or by contacting me directly.
And maybe the most fun of all, a new challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments starts today! This week is an awesome color challenge using some of the new in colors!
I just love the new in colors and have NOT used them enough! For my card I used the kinda eclectic stamp set. This is one I tried NOT to like, lol! Do you ever do that? Try NOT to like a set so you don't HAVE to buy it? LOL! I'm kind of glad I sat on my order for a while because I really had talked myself out of it but then I kept seeing amazing cards made with it so I had to get it! It's great on it's own and will work so well with so many other sets and elements!
I kept it pretty simple though since I got started on this a tad bit late. But it makes great simple cards!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Kinda eclectic
Paper: Whisper white
Ink: Hello honey, lost lagoon, tangelo twist
Accessories: Basic rhinestones, natural ribbon, hello honey ribbon, butterfly punch
I stamped off the dots once although it's really hard to tell in the photo. I think I should have stamped them off twice! Lost lagoon is such a deep pretty color! And the butterfly was punched out twice. The first one I adhered flat with glue dots then folded the second one slightly in the middle for some dimension!
Ok, now it's your turn! Go see what the rest of the team did and grab those new colors and play along with us!
