Hi stampers! It's time for the monthly Control Freaks blog hop!
I haven't participated in a while with out move and stuff so I was excited to be able to this month and it was with fun new goodies!!!!! The theme for this month is the new catalog pre-order!!!!!
We make an endless loop so if you keep clicking along you'll see ALL the freaky fabulousness! You may have just come from Heidi's blog, weren't her projects awesome? We just all love the new catalog and the stuff in it!
The first project uses the stamp set we got at the catalog party SU threw for us at various movie theaters! I have to say I may not have gotten this one if left to my own devices (maybe) but I really like it! And I realized I hadn't really introduced you to the five new in colors! So here they all are together with the Work Of Art stamp set! Blackberry bliss is my fave and closely followed by lost lagoon! They work great together and in other combos! The stamp set makes great super simple cards!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Work of art
Paper: Whisper white, blackberry bliss
Ink: Blackberry bliss, lost lagoon, mossy meadow, hello honey, tangelo twist
Next up is a card I used a recent sketch challenge for but of course didn't get around to posting it in time...story of my life! BUT I really love the cute little paper stack this one uses called moonlight! I was happy to see a few of the small stacks in the new catalog. And anything that has the blackberry color in it is ok with me :-) Just look at all those fun patterns! I also didn't get a lot of stamps in my pre-order like I usually do (I'm trying to be more discerning and money conscious) but I LOVE the little greeting set called something to say. It has fun fonts which I love and of course cute sayings that can be mixed and matched or used together!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Something to say
Paper: Whisper white, sahara sand, moonlight DSP stack
Ink: Blackberry bliss
Accessories: Circle punch, honeycomb EF
And finally how could I NOT get the new baby bundle???? :-) It was one of the prizes at the catalog event and I was so hoping I would win it and could stand up and wave my baby belly around lol! But alas I didn't. But like I said, I did get it and the matching framelits (they are at a discount together) and the cute baby DSP which can be used for either a boy or a girl!!!! The greeting is another one from something to say and just goes to show how well you can mix and match our sets to suit your needs! You'll also notice the new thicker baker's twine in last year's set of in colors! Fun stuff!
And here's another sketch challenge that I may have time to enter still but will I? Probably not, lol! But this card is earmarked for a former co-worker of mine back home who just had an adorable little baby boy and I'm a bad friend and still haven't sent a card!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Something for baby, something to say
Paper: Whisper white, coastal cabana, lullaby DSP
Ink: Coastal cabana, pistachio pudding, baked brown sugar, crisp cantaloupe, hello honey (markers)
Accessories: Coastal cabana baker's twine, baby's first framelits
So, there you have it! A nice little sneak peek of just a small portion of the fabulousness that's in the new catalog coming June 2!
Make sure you keep going and hop on over to Debbie's blog to see even more of it. I know she's got some adorable projects for you!
Thanks for joining us this month and make sure to come back on the 20th of every month for more freaky fun!!!!
Happy stamping!
