Something a little different...and it's about time!

Hola stampers! I'm sharing a little bit of our honeymoon to Mexico with you today! I know it's been a while since I posted but I'm going to try to do better...now that I don't have to do any wedding planning! AND I don't have a card today but a SCRAPBOOK PAGE! It's been a while since I've scrapped...need to get better at that too!!!! So, we took a day trip to the Mayan ruins at Tulum and then went to Xel-Ha which was this really cool inlet that you could snorkel all around. They had lots of other things to do too like a wacky bridge, cliffs to jump off of, a lazy river that was an actual RIVER and lots of other stuff! If you're ever near Cancun/Rivera Maya you should GO!

So they had this big iguana and then some birds that they would take pictures of you with and we got to do it with the parrots and a toucan but Jon didn't want to buy the toucan picture...I would have gotten them ALL, hehe! BUT what in the heck was I going to do with an 8 x 10 of us in swim suits with parrots??? Not like I'd frame the thing...so I scrapped it! Nevermind we were sweating buckets and my hair is all funky from the water....and I'm all squinty:-)

I thought the DSP out of the mini and stamp set would be perfect, it's so tropical! The stamp set is called tropical party and the DSP is Island Oasis. BOTH are only available until August 31st and would be PERFECT for all of your summer projects and scrapping your vacations and days at the pool/beach! I also used the lattice embossing folder out of the summer mini (also for purchase in the regular catalog). I hope you like it! So check it out and let me know what you think!

Supplies:
Stamps: Tropical Party, Jumble alphabet
Paper: Island oasis DSP, Pacific point, soft suede, whisper white
Ink: Daffodil delight, tempting turquoise, pumpkin pie, mambo melon, soft suede, old olive (marker)

Thanks for your comments. I probably won't respond unless you ask a direct question (because I know my limits, lol) but I read and appreciate every single one <3
