BIG day!

Hi stampers!  So today is a BIG day!  First, I stamped last night and made TWO cards!  That's a big deal as of late (and even the last 6-9 months) since you all know my mojo has been nearly non-exitsent and then with the move it was difficult.  But, I've been feeling inspired and my room is mainly set up and finally very functional!  I highly enjoyed stamping in it last night even if it was a bit odd since things were't in their "old"places, ha!  I have some finishing touches and a lot of stuff to sort through and store and sell but I can stamp in there!  Here's a preview when we set up the big stuff (MANY thanks to my mom, step-dad and hubby for getting it to this point!).  And there's a funny story about one of those little Ikea carts that I'll share some day as well.  I'll do a tour once it's all finished!

It's also quite astonishing that not only did I stamp but I did a challenge which I haven't done in a long time....or at least a current one and I'm getting it posted before it ends, lol!  For some reason the sketch at The Paper Players just spoke to me!  And I knew I wanted to use starburst sayings as I've had ideas for it for a while and it's not seen much ink!

And I really, really love how it turned out!  Which doesn't happen a lot recently :-)  The wooden accents are actually dyed with so saffron ink.  I took a solid circle stamp from another set, inked it up and stamped it over them a few times each.  It was the least messy idea I could come up with and it worked pretty well!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps:  Starburst sayings
Paper:  Very vanilla, tangerine tango, so saffron, coastal cabana, retro fresh DSP
Ink:  Soft suede, so saffron
Accessories:  Starburst framelits, chevron punch, brights candy dots, essentials wooden elements

I'm also excited because my Project Life pre-order is supposed to be delivered today! I'm interested to see what time UPS delivers here as it was always late afternoon back home.  Fed ex dropped off something the other day before I even left for the gym so I have high hopes :-)  Now, they left my package at the garage so I almost backed over it!!!!!!  If they do that with my stamps I'd be highly distraught!!!!!!!!  Anyway, I'd get to work and share some samples with you but that's not going to happen.........because.........

I'll be hanging out with a bunch of other SU peeps drooling over the NEW CATALOG!!!!  SU is doing something new and having a catalog premier party at movie theaters all over the country and live streaming the reveal of the new catalog!  I'm so excited!  Partly just to have something other than unpacking to do and something to go do with people from the area!  And of course I'm excited about the catalog!!!!!  I think this is helping to get my mojo flowing again since I'm excited and realizing I need to get my butt in gear and ink up a lot of stuff that didn't get used much if at all!!!!

So, I better get to the gym and work off the Red Robin I'm going to eat meeting a few friends for dinner before!

If you need a catalog please let me know so I can put you on my list when it comes out!

Happy stamping!

Thanks for your comments. I probably won't respond unless you ask a direct question (because I know my limits, lol) but I read and appreciate every single one <3
