Hi stampers! Well it's Monday which means my work schedule is changing yet again! School starts today so that means I'm back in the clinic for half days and then spending my afternoons and evenings at the school. At least two a day's are over...but that also means later hours with games and what not. Oh well...I'll have to squeeze stamping in where I can! I am looking forward to seeing my football kids play. I sure hope we are little better than last year!
Anyway....I've got a mailable card today! Haven't made very many of those lately it seems. But I got the idea for this one late one night and it felt great to quickly create something when I hadn't seemed to be able to create all day long!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Blooming with kindness, pursuit of happiness
Paper: Whisper white, sahara sand, pool party
Ink: Calypso coral, basic black
Accessories: Apothecary accents framelits, argyle embossing folder
I got the color combo for this card off of something I'd pinned on Pinterest. I had quit wasting time....I mean hanging out on Pinterest for quite a while but I'm back now...and pinning way too much stuff, lol! But it's really helping me when I'm in a slump. I can go find inspiration in a sketch, or a card, or a color combo. It's super simple but I love it. It's also a sympathy card and I prefer them to be on the simple side!
And please excuse my ugly watermark....I'm messing around with editing photos on my Mac and don't have a cute watermark yet. I've been editing photos on my old laptop all last week because I'm still not really set up to do it on the Mac yet but I tried:-) I'm SLOWLY figuring it out...but when I have time to figure stuff out I'd rather stamp, ha!
Happy stamping!
Awww, happy "Back to School" week, Mindy! Love your mailable card...I personally really need to make more of these. The color combo rocks, too. Pinterest really can be a time suck BUT it can also be really great to jump start some creative mojo. I've been using the term "Pinning responsibly" to keep me on track there and make sure I don't waste too much time. LOL!! Are you loving your Mac? Ok, enought babbling from me! Ha! Have a HAPPY day, friend! :)
