Oh Baby!

Hi stampers!  Seems like I know a LOT of people that are going to be having babies very soon!  And I know my mom wishes I were one of them:-)  Haha!  She's been bugging me for grandkids even BEFORE we got married!  She'll have to settle for her grand-dog for the next year or two though!  Hehe!

Anyway....I'm in need of some baby cards for sure and the new hostess set Slice of Life from the Occasions Mini has the cutest little onesie image!  In fact, this card uses THREE things you can only get by hostessing a workshop or placing a qualifying order!  The sentiment is from the level two occasions mini hostess set and the patterned paper is from the hostess DSP stack in the main catalog!  The scallop circle and peach parfait circle were cut using the big shot and the main image was punched with our 2.5 inch punch (which should be available for order soon, it had some manufacturing issues).  I also tied a bitty button on with some white crochet thread and used a pear pizazz glimmer brad on the sentiment.

Stampin Supplies:
Stamps:  Slice of Life, Something to Celebrate (both hostess)
Paper: So saffron, pear pizazz, peach parfait, whisper white, DSP stack (hostess)
Ink:  Pear Pizazz, so saffron, peach parfait, baja breeze, staz on
Accessories:  Scallop #2 die, 3 inch circle die, 2.5 inch circle punch, modern label punch, peach parfait ribbon, bitty buttons, in-color glimmer brads, crochet thread, paper piercer

I was going for a more gender neutral color scheme but I think it turned out more boy than nuetral!  What do you think???

I hope you liked it!  Time to have my SAB Celebration class!  Happy stamping and see you soon!

Sunshine Defined!

Hi Stampers!  BOY is it ever COOOOOOOOOLLLLD here.  My car said -4 this morning...I didn't even KNOW it HAD a negative, lol!  So, with all this snow and cold weather I thought we could use a little sunshine!  I've got to tell you, I'm loving this Valentine Defined set from the Occasions Mini catalog!  I've had the idea for this card in my head for a while now and finally got to sit down and put it to paper after our little mid-week date night on Wednesday!  What a great day, a date AND stamping!

My grandpa and my mom used to sing "You Are My Sunshine" all the time so this card has special meaning to me and my mom will probably end up getting one!  I got the sentiment from the Something Sweet set and thought it would be perfect for a Valentine!  I think the yellow button (from our brights button collection) as the sun is just the perfect touch here!  Just a couple of quick notes:  the ribbon is scrunched up just by pulling a thread and sticking it down with sticky strip, the top note and the tree are popped up on dimensionals, and the crumb cake panel is stamped in crumb cake with the woodgrain background stamp ( I LOVE that thing).  So, here you go....here's some sunshine:
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps ~ Valentine Defined, Something Sweet, Woodgrain
Paper ~ blushing bride, crumb cake, pear pizzaz, baja breeze, whisper white
Ink ~ Crumb cake (ink pad & marker), blushing bride (marker), baja breeze
Accessories ~ dimensionals, brights buttons, pear pizazz poly ribbon, top note die, crochet thread (non-su)

There you are!  Hope it brought a little warmth to your day!  See you soon if I don't freeze:-)

Happy stamping!

SEW easy!

Hey stampers!  I have a quick card for you today!  I tried my hand at sewing on this card for the first time since the hubby got me a little sewing machine for Christmas.  And the machine promptly BROKE after I made this card!!!!  Thankfully they exchanged it for us on Saturday so I can sew again!  This cute little valentine uses one of my favorite stamp sets from the Occasions Mini, Valentine Defined.  It also uses the tulip border embossing folder which adds a fun and fast border to your card!  Then I just sewed around the image and I also sewed the ribbon on, so fun!  My colors are blushing bride, crumb cake, and espresso!  Love that combo!  I used my markers to ink up the different parts of the sentiment in the different colors and then added a pearl for the O in love! Hope you liked it!  Happy stamping!

BUNDLE Of Love

Hi Stampers!  I've been MIA for a while, trying to get organized in the new year and I've been in a major funk so there hasn't been much stamping (or much of anything) going on around here!  I'm slowly crawling my way out.  I'm going to blame it on the weather, the cold, and the snow:-)  And as a new year resolution I'm going to try to blog more (I know, I say it every year, hehe).  So I have an exciting bundle to show you today!

Until January 24th, you can order the Filled with Love bundle which included the Filled with Love stamp set (which is STILL available until the 24th for this promo) from the expired Holiday Mini, a special pack of DSP with pretty in pink and real red paper (which of course is PER-FECT for Valentine's projects!) and a FREE pack of itty bitty buttons! Wood mount pricing is $32.90 and clear mount is only $26.90! Here are the images for the stamp set and the paper:

Please visit my online store or email or call me if you'd like to order this special bundle or anything else!  There is still plenty of time for your Valentine's projects!  Here are a couple of quick cards I put together with  this bundle (and the ideas are from a couple of great stampers that I found on our demo website and SCS so I can't take credit for designing them, thank you ladies!).

Can you see the bitty buttons?  I used the hearts and on the first card it's over the red heart and on the second, it's next to the red heart.  Please let me know if you have any questions!  Hope to be back soon!  Happy stamping!
