Well Hello There!

Hi stampers!  Happy....Wednesday!  It IS Wednesday, right?  I have been off ever since Christmas vacation and I'm STILL not back to our normal routine or at least it feels that way still for some reason.  Maybe it's because they changed up the class schedule at the gym, ha!  I HATE that, I'm still trying to figure out what classes are going to work for me what days!

I haven't stamped much but I'm working on it.  I did get some time in last Sunday so have a few things to share!  But I'm hoping to get back to "normal" (as if I was normal ever lol) soon and try to do some videos and classes and other fun things!  I'm excited for 2019!

Here's a fun card I made over the weekend.  I tend to "forget" about things in the annual catalog and I shouldn't because there is some great stuff in there!  This was a fantastic set from last year's Occasions Catalog and it carried over so I dug it out!  It makes a super simple but fun card!  This is almost #simplestamping.  Almost ;-)

I also dug out some Pacific Point.  I don't use that color often but I really should!  I think I'll hop on FB or Instagram and try out a real #simplestamping version using a notecard!

Hi stampers!  Happy Monday!  How can it be the last full week of July already?  I took off with Ian for my mom's house last week so I didn't post much.  I always think I will have so much time but then we have fun on the farm and I don't :-)


I came up with this bright color combo the other day and I had to use it on a fun card, so Picture Perfect Birthday was...well....perfect!

And I hand cut the little noise makers out.  They are pretty simple to cut out.

Now it's back to our normal routine...and laundry!

Cue The Confetti

Hi stampers!  I'm back!  Jon was gone all this week and Ian kept me pretty busy so I didn't get around to blogging...again.  He did fall asleep for a bit yesterday so I managed to crank out one card while he snoozed on the couch!

Today, I'm going to show you the card that I gave a sneak peek of over the weekend on my IG.  I'm so happy the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set is in the new catalog!  It's such a cute set!  I will say I've had a bit of trouble using it without the rest of the retired suite (because it was just SO GOOD) but this set stands on it's own for sure!  This card could be a birthday card or used for any occasion that requires confetti!

I also sort of love these colors together!  I'm not sure of the last time I used Pacific Point but they color revamp has given it new life for me!  I paired it with Basic Black, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, and Gorgeous Grape and it was perfect!  I added some of the new Glitter Enamel Dots and that SUPER fun Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon.

I just love all the little elements and accents in this set and they all worked so perfectly that I didn't even need a main image!

Purple Pair

Hi stampers!  So if you follow me, you probably know I don't do a lot of purple which is odd because I don't dislike purple.  But, I guess I didn't like our purples.  OH HOW that has changed!  Today's card features two new purples and they are AMAZING on their own and paired together!

I paired the with the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp because it's going to be in the new catalog and I wanted to make sure you realized you could make it with things other than the suite ;-)  I think that sometimes we get focused on a suite and forget that we can pair it with anything else!  I know I get like that sometimes!  So here you go!

I sponged some Gorgeous Grape on my background and used it for the main part of the bow stamp.  I filled in the bow with Highland Heather and used both colors to randomly stamp some accents on the background.  Cute, simple, and pretty quick!  I hope you take a look at these purples!  You can get yours on June 1!!!
