Spectacular Cupcakes

Hi stampers!  Happy hump day!  This week is flying by, we have been busy!  Blogging again on location while Ian has his therapy!  Today's card is a simple one but I LOVE it!  The giant greeting makes it really easy to make a fun and simple card!

I simply used a notecard and our Stampin' Blends.  This would be a great card to make if you're new to the blends!   You could make them all the same color or different like I did!

Easy peasy!

Happy stamping...or coloring!

Mailable Monday - You Otter Be

Hi stampers!  Happy Monday!  January is SO close to being over!  I better get going on some Valentine's!  I got a start this weekend with this adorable set, Hey Love!  I tried to resist it, but I finally caved.  I mean, you OTTER be????  So cute!

I colored these cuties in with my Blends and it made a cute and simple card!  And a little tip here: I actually used a Thick Whisper White card base and just glued my real red panel on so that it's easy to stamp and write inside.  It just looked better with a full red mat.  The other alternative is to put a white panel on the inside of the card.

Happy stamping!

Mailable Monday - Feathers & Frost

Hi stampers!  Quick card and quick post today!  I LOVED the Feathers & Frost set when I saw the upcoming Holiday Catalog.  I tried to resist but I couldn't.  I love the fonts and you know I'm a sucker for fonts and great sentiments and I mean, loooooook how cute!

It was made for the Blends so that's what I used.  I love how colorful but clean this is!  I think it will be an under-rated set but I LOVE it!  What about you?

Petal Passion Paper

Hi stampers!  How's that for alliteration?  Stampin' Up likes to do that :-) But have you SEEN this DSP?  It's amazing.  Personally, I love a good black and white print because it's so versatile and modern!  What's also fantastic about this paper is how you can color it!  Can you believe I colored this DSP with my Blends markers?  Add to the fact that I color about as good as a first grader (I am at least a little better than Ian lol) and it makes it all that more remarkable!  Isn't it gorgeous!?!?!  There is some shading on the paper already that looks like you REALLY know what you're doing when you color ;-)

Do yourself a favor and grab a pack of this paper!  The geometric designs are great for backgrounds and the florals are great for backgrounds or your main image, such as here!

Happy stamping!
