Hi stampers! Well here it is, day 10 of our blog hop. I can't believe how fast it's gone by and how many fabulous projects we've seen! Speaking of fab-boo projects you should have just come from Tara's blog and her amazing project, no? If not, no worries since we make an endless loop!
So I'm back with yet another baby project....I know, I know:-) It just kind of worked out that way though that I did three baby themed things. I may have baby on the brain but I swear I didn't intend for it to show through my Artisan entries. I actually made this card because I had another baby card I had made with the same color combo that I kind of wanted to enter but since I'd made it long ago and already posted it to my blog I decided to try something new.
I used the simply scored diagonal plate to make a "baby quilt" background. I can't tell you how many tries it took me to get it right, lol! Me and that diagonal plate don't get along too well...I seem to get cross-eyed and score in the wrong track. But, I think the card turned out cute and I think it's my favorite entry of all which is why I saved it for today, the last day of our hop.
I like the inside of this one almost as much as the front, hehe! I wanted to make a little nursery scene since the little additions set is so cute! The teddy bear is cut out and attached with a mini glue dot to give it a little dimension.
Now head on over to Connie's blog if you haven't already and check out her final gorgeous project! And here's the list to the rest in case you missed any.
1: Connie Collins
2: Holly VanDyne
3: Melissa Stout
4: Amy O'Neill
5: Sandie Conner
6: Amy Rogers
7: Mercedes Weber
8: Tara (Murphy) Bougroin
9: Mindy Bingamon (You are here)
And now it's back to your regularly scheduled blog postings:-) I've got quite a few new things saved up to share with you over the next few weeks.
Happy stamping!

HSS 124
Hi stampers! Happy Tuesday! Sadly, I'm back from my Vegas vacation.....but now I'm off to a work conference until Friday....no rest for the weary! Ha! But I did manage to make it through my one day of work this week, lol! Anyway, there wasn't much stamping last week and not shaping up to be any this week either....sad!!!!! I'm going to try to make up for lost time this weekend though!
Anyway we have a fun theme challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week! Quilts! This challenge kind of makes me think of my granny! She made us lots of quilts!
And here's my card:
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Little additions, sweet essentials
Paper: Whisper white, crumb cake, early espresso, neutrals & in colors 2012-2014 DSP stacks
Ink: Early espresso, primrose petals, Summer starfruit
It's going to be a breif blog post....my brain was still on vacation and I totally forgot what day it was so here I sit VERY very late and I didn't sleep good last night (I blame vacation for this too, lol) so I'm pooped! And I need to rest up for my next trip...and to spend four days with my momma, hehe! Make sure to check out what the rest of the design team came up with and them play along!
Happy stamping and good night, hehe!

Dynamic Duo
Hi stampers! I don't have any sneak peeks for you today but I do have a fun new challenge! It's a new site called Dynamic Duos and this week is their first challenge! How fun! So the first challenge was pool party and lucky limeade...two of my fave colors!
And I just couldn't help it...I had to do a baby card:-) They were just the perfect colors for a baby boy card!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Little additions, pennant parade
Paper: Whisper white, pool party, lucky limeade
Ink: Pool party, lucky limeade
Accessories: 2.5 inch circle punch, triple heart punch, perfect pennants die, lucky limeade ruffled ribbon, illuminate accent ink
It's a pretty simple card but I think it's super cute and I just love the colors! It's hard to see but I covered the little heart in the illuminate accent ink so it's kind of shimmery!
That's it for now, happy stamping!

Phooey!
Hi stampers! So I goofed! UGH! I was so mad when I made this card last night and then went and looked at the challenge over at the Paper Players...I used the wrong color!!!! Grrrr! I've been working on this challenge
since the other night and I guess that I forgot it was supposed to be pear and not limeade! Oh well, I think I'll still enter because the colors are close:-) I really liked these colors and I plan to use them again (and maybe even the pear, lol). I guess I should really pay more attention to the challenges while I'm doing them!!!! These colors reminded me of the colors in the Oh Baby MDS template and since I have baby on the brain thanks to my new little cousin, this is what I came up with.
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Sweetly said, little additions, distressed dots
Ink: Basic black, wisteria wonder, crumb cake, pool party (textured), lucky limeade (oops)
Paper: Whisper white, wisteria wonder, crumb cake, pool party
Accessories: basic pearls, lucky limeade ruffled ribbon (oops again), printed in color brads
I stamped the onsies on the main image and then stamped them again and cut them out and popped them up on dimensionals. I think this card would work for a little boy or girl! I hope the ladies over at PPA can forgive me for my mental slip:-) I have a few more ideas for this color combo!!! It's a really great one!

HSS 104
Hi stampers! Happy Tuesday! Where did the weekend go? Oh yeah, I was working:-) So, not a lot of stamping time but I did manage to get my challenge card done:-) This week over at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have a color challenge for you. It's kind of a fitting challenge for me since I sort of have the winter blues as of late:-) Seems to happen every year! I need some sunshine and warm weather....and I nice LONG run OUTSIDE, hehe! Anyway, check out these colors....blue alright but far from depressing!
I have to admit that I struggled with these colors for a bit and then it hit me! Baby boy card!!! How perfect, right? And I'm on a clean and simple kick so this is how it turned out:
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Little additions
Paper: Whisper white, marina mist, not quite navy, subtles DSP stack
Ink: Marina mist, not quite navy
Accessories: Fashionable hearts embosslit, labels collection framelits, marina mist scalloped polka dot ribbon, smooch illuminate accent ink, dotted scallop border punch
Ack, isn't it cute? I just love the stamp set little additions! You can see that I added a heart from NQN and I colored over it with the smooch accent ink so it's all shimmery! I couldn't get the crumb cake to work quite right so I'm just using whisper white as my neutral.
Now click on over to the HSS site to see what everyone came up with and play along with us! And get rid of those wintertime blues with some blues!!!!

Sweet Sunday!
Hi stampers, I told ya I'd be back. I have another challenge card and it's also the first time I've played along with this one too! I really liked the sketch at Sweet Sunday today! I'm trying to go outside of my comfort zone sometimes lately and one is different sized cards! I tend to make only standard A2 cards so I loved the narrow card here. I need to make more of them!
I broke out the Little Additions set for this card...now I need someone to have a baby so I can give it to them, lol! I found my color combo on my color coach! It's so handy. If you don't have one you should just click the little order 24/7 button over to the right and get one today!!!!! :-) So here is my "addition":
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Little additions, Sweetly said
Paper: Whisper white, baja breeze (smooth and textured), pink pirouette, early espresso
Ink: baja breeze, pink pirouette, early espresso
Accessories: Pretty in pink ribbon, basic pearls, triple heart punch, dazzling details, subtles glimmer brads, tasteful trim die
Isn't is just cute? I haven't made many cards lately that I've been pleased with so I was happy to have this one come out so well...and like I'd pictured in my head! There really is a lot going on in a small space. I cut out the items sitting on the shelf and then popped one up on a dimensional. The pink heart frame has dazzling diamonds on it for some shimmer. I also punched a heart out and adhered it over the little heart that's on the crib as the card needed another pop of pink. The little pearl in the corner makes it stand out a bit more as well. I also made one of those little bows with a brad in the center that I used to adhere the sentiment.
Speaking of the sentiment, isn't it cute? It's from Sweetly Said which is a totally cute greeting set! I got it FREE with my hostess benefits!!!! I popped it on a little banner and that's it!
