Fab Friday 193

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  We have been enjoying some family time before the holiday weekend so this will be a quick post!  It's time for a new sketch over at Fab Friday!

And here's what I did with the Pattern Play Suite, it's so cute!

I chose not to use the dies as to show you, you can totally use the stamp set and DSP alone to make cute cards if the whole bundle with the alphabet dies is out of reach for you!

Fab Friday 192

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  We have a new color challenge for you this week at Fab Friday and I think you'll like it!  Have you met the new in colors?  Well here they are!

I really like them!  I think my favorite is Just Jade.  For my card, I copied one of the cards on the front of the catalog that I'm totally obsessed with.  I already cased it exactly and if you follow me on Instagram you may have seen it already.  But, I thought it would look really cute with these colors and it does!

I did totally forget to put some sequins or an embellishment on it, whoop!   But still cute!

Peaceful Moments Catalog Case

Hi stampers!  I've got  card today straight from the catalog.  The bundles are located in the back and have a sample listed with them, which I love!  I don't have my new products yet so I've been working with current items that I have.

I used the bundle and Peaceful Moments for the sentiment.  My flower, buds, and lighter color leaves were all watercolored then cut out.  My card base is Purple Posy.

This was a fun card and I love the color combos!

Fab Friday 191

Hi stampers!  Time is getting away from me!  I meant to post yesterday, start off the new catalog strong, and I forgot lol!  I have been busy cleaning out old things though to make money for the new ;-)

Anyway, I'm here today with a new challenge from Fab Friday!

And here's my card:

I used the A Little Lace stamp and die to make a simple card.  I really like how it turned out though.  And I really like the gold accents!  I'm short on current embellishments right now and these were perfect!  I didn't get all the little pieces out of my background panel and I kind of like how it looks like that.

Today Is The Day

Hi stampers!  Today is the day!  At 1pm Central time (noon Mountain at SU), the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog goes live!

For the first time in 10 years, I didn't do a pre order thanks to our Corona budget so I'll be ordering to get my hands on some goodies!  I hope you'll be joining me :-)

Fab Friday 189

Hi stampers!  It seems I'm failing at blogging! Probably because all I do now that we are at home is cook, do dishes, and clean up after all of us being here ALL THE TIME!  Anyone relate?  And the fact that Ian can't leave me alone for five whole minutes ;-)

I have been spending time (especially on the weekends) in my office just watching TV to be "alone" and laying on the floor or the last 8 weeks or so.  I started looking into something to relax in like a chair or chaise lounge but for the time being, it occurred to me that Ian's old rocker and ottoman was upstairs.  We managed to lug it downstairs and while I don't love the way it looks and have a chair in mind to order, it works for now!  I'm sort of afraid I'll never stamp again, ha!  But again, my plan has backfired as someone else finds it cozy.  Mom life right there....

Anyway, I did manage to stamp a card for Fab Friday!  And then I promptly sat in my relaxing spot again ;-)

And here's my card!  The Peaceful Poppies DSP makes quick and easy cards, it's really almost all you need!
