Isn't it cute! I thought that the build a blossom punch would work good for the outer petals and then I took the smaller flower from the fun flower die to make the "cup" since I wanted something that would stand up! All I did was bend the petals up and pop on some pearls in all different sizes. Now, I know that a lot of daffodils are white with yellow cups but really there are all kinds and I like the yellow ones with white cups the best:-) I kept the rest of the card simple since all of my class participants will be new-bies:-) If I get time, I'll try to post a video about how to best use the blossom punch as it can be a bit tricky! Hope you like it! Happy stamping!
This is so pretty. It reminds me of the trend in bridal dresses that are popular now, the white dress with a sash of color. Love it! Thank you for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
ReplyDeleteYour card brought back memories of the beautiful flowers in Hawaii. The first thing that came to my mind was the beautiful yellow Hybiscus that I had growing in my backyard. Lovely card -- it's a quick and simple card & yet elegant at the same time. Thank you so much for joining our challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. Please come back and join us again.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Mindy! You did a fab job with that gorgeous bloom!!
ReplyDeleteMindy, this is beautifully bright and cheerful. That Swiss Dots is a constant favorite of mine. :)
ReplyDeleteMindy, this is fabulous!! Love your daffodil! You created it beautifully with that punch. The embossed polka dots perfectly compliment the pearl flower centers. Love it! Thank SO much for playing along at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week! :)
