A Dirty Little Secret

Hi stampers!  I have a dirty little secret and a confession today!  I may have, for the first time ever since signing up as a demo, purchased some non-Stampin Up stamps!  Yikes, who am I and what has happened to me, right?

Well don't fear, I'm still all SU 99.9% of the time but I found the CUTEST Star Wars stamps and had to have them for the two special men in my life!  We are ALL Star Wars over here ALL THE TIME so it was a must!  There are three different sets of them at Kindred Stamps and I had to sign up for the restock notifications because these babies sell out fast!

I did use all of my other SU supplies to make the card though!  I colored little Hahn and Leia with my Blends markers.  And I can't color to save my life so this is proof of how amazing they are!  Seriously, this is a major testament!

I also did a "galaxy" type background with our classic inks.  Most of the tutorials I've seen for galaxies use distress inks but ours worked just fine in my opinion.  It's a little bit different but not much.  If you'd like to see a tutorial, let me know!  I simply used our sponges to blend and blend!  The "stars" are Wink Of Stella.

This will probably be my Valentine to Jon.  We maaaay have had to get coordinating shirts at Disneyland ;-)  And if you know me, I don't just wear silly T-shirts so it MUST be love!!!!

And hooray!  It's FINALLY February!  January lasted approximately 98374639382 days!  Although I'm not really thrilled about turning another year older, I'm happy to be on our way to spring!
