Fab Friday 215

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  We have been so busy over here with the end of the school year, VBS prep, and a little vacation with Grandma and Grandpa!  I at least had a second to make a card for the new Fab Friday challenge!

We did something a bit different this time with a square card!  Here is what I made!

It's a little 4x4 card and I love it!  I used Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, and Merry Merlot.  I don't branch out much to different card shapes so this one was kind of fun.  Make sure to check out the design team and play along!

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  It's time for another challenge at Fab Friday!  Let's take a look!

Eek!  I just love the new In-Colors for this year!  I was short on time this week so I went really simple!

I passed on this set in the pre order because I thought it would be fussy to color and I totally didn't pay attention that it has stamps to fill in the flowers and leaves!   You can totally color it if you want and if not, quick and simple stamping!  I have a whole Youtube video from a FB live I did so check that out!

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  I haven't been on here to post about the new catalog and I apologize, I've had a headache for days now and am just starting to come around and feeling better!  So, the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog is LIVE!  

There's so much great stuff in there!  AND, qualifying orders get extra host rewards this month!

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  It's been a WEEK over here!  Poor Ian pulled a muscle in his neck getting in the car for school and I've bruised (I hope that's all it is) my foot really bad when a panel on the front of the bathtub fell on it (it randomly falls off).  GAH!   Anyway, we have a new challenge for you over at Fab Friday and hopefully everyone's week has gone better and our weekend will be smooth sailing!  Let's check it out!

Hurry and use up some of the Terracotta Tile before it retires!  I used the colors here with Pretty Perennials before it retires (sad face, I just got it).

I bought Pretty Perennials just before the retiring list came out so I'm sorry!  I'm the kiss of death, I was sure it would carry forward but it's not.  So I used it here to get SOME use out of it! :-)

Fab Friday 210

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  I'm still trying to adjust to life after Spring Break!  Add the fact that the retiring list came out (hit up the last chance sale before things sell out, FYI) and the new catalog was released to demos and my wheels continue to spin.  I feel like I just can't keep up but what's new!?!  I also have been dealing with some arthritis or tendonitis in my right middle finger so typing this seems super fun, lol!  Always something!

Anyway it's time for a new challenge at Fab Friday and I did manage to at least stamp something this week for it!  Let's take a look at the color challenge!

I don't use Smokey Slate too often and I should!  It's a great neutral and I think it looks super great with this embossing folder!  Make sure to check out what the team did and play along with us!  We love seeing you create!  Better use those enamel dots up as they are retiring!

Fab Friday 208

Hi stampers!  Well, to say it's been an interesting month around here would be an understatement!  Along with ice and snow and negative temperatures usual for Oklahoma, Jon and I caught the rona.  Thankfully, we both (me especially) had fairly mild symptoms and are overall, feeling pretty good now.  But, with the weather and all it was just a crazy time! And why I didn't participate in the last challenge. 

I'm still dealing with a change in taste and some brain fog so I hope this post makes sense, ha!  But really, that part is NO joke!  Really hoping my mind clears up soon!

Anyway, it's finally starting to get back to normal over here and it's time for a new Fab Friday Challenge!  I have to say I love these colors!

Hey, Chick Promotion - February

Hi stampers!  I'm blogging on a Tuesday, can you even believe it?  I did this in the car line, who knew THAT would up my productivity.  Not much else to do there!  Anyway I wanted to make sure to share this month's special promotion because it's adorable and so fun!

They are doing something I haven't seen them do in a long time!  They are bringing this stamp set back from last SAB!  Do you remember it?  

For once, my hoarding paid off!  I dug around and found it!  If you didn't save it or didn't get it, don't worry!  You can order it, either by itself or with matching dies, WHAT?????  And if you do have it, you can get the dies ala cart as well.  Seriously, these are cute!  Look at that little hen house!  My mom loves chickens and had them for her whole childhood so I'll have to make her some cards!

And then they are introducing a special stamp set and set of dies to coordinate called Hey, Birthday Chick!  Just look!

HOW CUTE!  Even with the chicken with the poor balloon placement (we won't go there hehehehe)!

Fab Friday 206

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  Hope everyone is doing well!  I can't believe we are at the tail end of January which is usually the longest month ever!  However, with Ian going to in-person school, it's kind of flown by here with me getting into a more non-2020 routine!  Now, we are just hoping he can stay IN school!  

And then our new doggy Wendy was diagnosed with a subluxing patella or dislocating kneecap.  She's going to need surgery with an EIGHT week recovery of strict rest and confinement.  OY!  But, her growth plates aren't closed yet so we have to wait another 3-4 months.  Anyway, that's the going ons here. Other than that, I've been stamping quite a bit and feeling creative which is nice and doesn't always happen ;-) Make sure you're following BadaBingPaperCrafting on Instagram to see all my cards!

It's also time for Fab Friday so let's check out the challenge!

Here's what I created:

I love these colors and want to make about 20 other cards with them, lol!  But for this one, I used the Flowering Cactus Product Medley.  It's the first one I've gotten and been excited about!  I used the stamp set and dies here.  I also used our new blending brushes to make my background!  They are DREAMY!  I have some highlights on IG showcasing them!

Fab Friday 205

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday and happy New Year!  I hope that 2021 is off to a great start!  It's off to a wild one over here with Ian starting in person school!  Trying to figure out yet another routine has us all a little crazy :-)

And if you couldn't tell, we took a little breather over at Fab Friday BUT we're back now and ready to create and we hope you are too!  Let's check out the challenge!

Isn't it a fun sketch!  I have to laugh as the submissions were coming in, I had made an almost identical card to a teammate like while she was posting hers, great minds!  But here's my card!

I thought this was a perfect sketch to highlight this DSP that you can earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration!  I have to say, when I saw it in the catalog I kind of went, meh.  It's not really my style and if I'm being honest, a lot of the stuff this year felt really early 2000's to me.  But, I kind of changed my tune when it came in.  It's pretty gorgeous!  Sometimes it just doesn't translate in the catalog ya know!

I also used the Embossing Folder.  I have been totally sleeping on this one!  It adds just that something special on a simple card!  Pick it up out of the Annual Catalog if you haven't.  It can add that extra touch to your project!

Hi stampers!  Wow, how can we be well on our way in December already?  Even though we start decorating and what not, pretty early, the Christmas season is never long enough for me.  I guess that's what makes it extra special though!  So you know my card for Fab Friday is going to be a Christmas card, right?

And the Christmas tree background is back ;-)  I went with some non-traditional colors here with Jade, Pool Party (my DSP is retired, sorry), Melon, and some Magenta Madness peeking in there!  I think they work well together for a merry card!

Hi stampers!  Happy FriYAY!  I'm over here saying boo-hoo because I didn't sign up for the virtual Stampin' Up conference.  We won't even mention how sad I am that I SHOULD be traveling to SLC for the event in person, but 2020....

But I didn't sign up to save money and I knew I wouldn't be able to commit to all the sessions with doing school with Ian.  Oh well.  It may be one of the only events I've missed since Ian was born!

Anyway, it's time for a new challenge over at Fab Friday.  Hopefully I can get a lot of things stamped this weekend at least!  Let's check out the challenge!

I kind of love this one just like I'm loving all the fall colors we have on the trees right now!  So pretty!  I used Cinnamon, Razzleberry, Bumble Bee, and Cajun Craze here.

Fab Friday 200

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday from the farm!  Well for a minute, Ian and I are actually headed back to Oklahoma this morning!  But, it's time for another challenge at Fab Friday!  It's actually our 200th challenge, can you believe that?  We aren't doing anything special because honestly, I'm at my limit with 2020 and virtual kindergarten :-)  But, it should be a fun Halloween challenge I think.  Of course I'm sure some of you will do other things with it that will knock our socks off!

 And here's my card!

I went kind of simple because I was getting ready to leave for Illinois but I really love how it turned out.  I kind of went for a rainbow effect!  I love these colors and I love that this card is a good mix of fun and creepy!

Shrinky Dink Shaker Card

Hi stampers!  I'm actually blogging today, can you believe it?  I wanted to blog this card because I made a video. And the card is really cool :-)  Not only did I make a video but I actually managed to edit it AND do a voiceover!  Who am I???  I really want to make more videos and do a better job at them so we will see what happens!  Let me know what you think!

But first, let's take a look at the card.

ACK!  Isn't it so cute?  Do you see those cute little cups of cocoa???  I just love them!  I used Shrinky Dink plastic to stamp and make them.  Funny story, I was super excited and showed Jon and he was less than impressed.  Turns out, he thought I got them from Stampin' Up and just shrunk them myself, he didn't realize I stamped and colored them and then shrunk them.  He was much more impressed once I informed him.  What in the world would be the point of buying them like that then shrinking them?  Hahah!

I used the Warm Hugs Bundle for this card.  All of the little elements in this set would looks so cute shrunk up.

Anyway, I filmed a video for you about how I made them although not the whole card for time's sake.  It's my first time doing a voiceover so please be kind :-)  It was odd basically talking to myself while watching the video back.  And I did actually narrate the video while I filmed in case it didn't work out so there's a few gestures in the video.  Now that I know I can do a voiceover I'll have to work on getting rid of the gestures while filming :-)

Hi stampers!  Happy Fri-yay!  I'm serious when I say Friday has taken on a whole other meaning during this pandemic and virtual schooling!  There is nothing like Friday afternoon!  Anyway, I did manage to stamp a card for the new Fab Friday challenge in between lessons!
