Fancy Friday Blog Hop - Tropical Vibes

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  It's time for another Fancy Friday Blog Hop!  We are a group of current and past Artisan Design Team members who come together once a month to inspire you with our fancy creations!  Make sure you click around to see each and every one!
This month we are taking you to the tropics!  Our theme this month is a project with a tropical vibe.

For my card, I used the Tropical Chic Bundle.  It's really fun and looks fantastic with bright colors!  Of course I used some of my MOST favorites for this, including Lemon Lime Twist and Coastal Cabana.  I also added in some Pool Party, Call Me Clover, Lovely Lipstick, and Flirty Flamingo!  Think that's enough? :-)

For my background, I used my Silicone Craft Mat to do a watercolor wash with Lemon Lime and Pool Party.  When it was slightly dry, I added some drops with Coastal Cabana so they would spread and blend but only a little.

For my flowers, I inked them in Flamingo and then used a Sponge Dauber to add some Lipstick around the edges making them two toned.  The card needed one more little pop of color, so I stamped the fat palm leaf with Call Me Clover.  My label is from the Foliage Frames Framelits which I MAY have ordered 90% for that one shape :-)

Some Linen Thread and a few Glitter Enamel Dots were the finishing touches

We aren't really taking a summer vacation this year so this card will just have to be my tropical escape :-)  Now it's time to head off and see what Dani has created for you and you're going to love it!

Happy stamping!

Thanks for your comments. I probably won't respond unless you ask a direct question (because I know my limits, lol) but I read and appreciate every single one <3
