Hi stampers! Happy Friday! And happy 5th anniversary to me and Mr. Bada-Bing! Sadly I don't have a card made up for him but I'm sure he won't mind. But I do have a card for the Fab Friday challenge! A color challenge is up so why not celebrate the newest in colors! You can use just a few or all of them!
Please excuse the unedited and or small pictures. Since updating my iOS I haven't been able to get my editing software to work.
Here's my card!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Kinda eclectic
Paper: Whisper white, tip top taupe
Ink: Tip top taupe, watermelon wonder, cucumber crush, mint macaron, delightful dijon
Accessories: butterfly punches, basic pearls
I tend to focus on newer sets so it was a challenge to pull this set off my shelf but I'm happy I did! These colors don't immediately go together in my mind but really they do. And it's getting easier to put them together. I think they work exceptionally well with this set!
Now it's your turn to play along. Make sure to visit the site to check out all of the other DT inspiration and don't be afraid of these colors if they don't work for you right away, like me! Give it a shot!
Happy stamping!

Freakin' Yeah!
Hi stampers! I'm blogging again, that makes two days in a week!!!! And I have two cards today, one of which I REALLY love! And they are just for the Control Freaks blog hop!
You may have come from the wonderful Connie Babbert's blog, weren't her projects awesome? If not, don't worry as we make an endless loop. You could look at the awesomeness all day long ;-) Just keep following the links! (We go live Friday night but make sure to check back Saturday for the official tour and all the links.)
This month's theme is new catalog goodness! Now, as I'm blogging I realized that I used pre-order goodies BUT new is new, right? And I didn't get quite as much new stuff as I used to since I'm not working now so I had less to chose from (using the word less in reference to anything in my craft room does make me laugh though, lol). I also tried to use new products but also some old products as well in order to show how everything works so nicely together.
First up is a card that didn't quite come together like I'd planned but it's not "bad". :-) I just hate when they don't turn out quite like I'd imagined. The more I look at it here the more I like it. I have to say these little flowers are bigger than I expected them to be!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Friendly wishes
Paper: Whisper white, tip top taupe, watermelon wonder, mint macaron
Ink: Tip top taupe, watermelon wonder, mint macaron
Accessories: In color blossom accents, tip top taupe dotted lace trim, burlap trim, scalloped tag topper punch
I can't seem to get a handle on the watermelon color, at least in large quantities, so I'm trying to work it in as accents and I'm pretty happy with it! I combined the new boho folder here with a couple of older ones for some much needed texture!
My other card is totally one of my favorites. You all know I've struggled to create for a while so I'm always extra excited when I LOVE something. I used the boho stamp set along with the PP birthday set that came back. I think the blend together well! You all know I love a fun mix of fonts. I'm like Brick on The Middle...anyone know what I'm talking about? Haha!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Endless birthday wishes, bohemian borders
Paper: Whisper white, Bermuda bay
Ink: Whisper white, Bermuda bay, hello honey, watermelon wonder
Accessories: Boho chic embossing folder
This is the same color combo I shared in my last post. It's funny how the same combo can have a different tone entirely depending on how it's used. It's hard to tell in the photo but I stamped one of the groups of three by stamping off first.
I hope you enjoyed the projects. I'm hopeful I'll be able to stamp and share more soon! Our summer has turned out quite busy! Where were all these plans when I was bored to tears over the winter?
Now head on over to Connie Tumm's (It's a Connie sandwich over here, hehe) blog and check out her fantastic projects!

Color crazed
Hi stampers! I swear, I'm going to try to do better at posting :-) I have been stamping a bit here and there lately so that's good! And I'm working really hard at getting some ideas going for my convention swaps so that's progress I suppose!
I do have to admit while I don't dislike this year's in colors, they aren't as easy for me to use as some from previous years. But, in time, I always warm up to all of them I suppose. This time I'm struggling most with the cucumber and watermelon colors. In general, they just aren't colors I'm particularly drawn to...until I realized my toes are pretty much painted watermelon wonder, ha! I guess I do have a thing for BRIGHT colors in the summer time, especially on my toes! That's making me look at the color just a tad differently now.
I also happened to glance down at my grid paper the other day and notice a color combo that I NEVER would have thought of on my own. The colors were from a number of projects and just kind of came together by accident to speak to me! And I was really happy to see watermelon wonder working so great with Bermuda bay and hello honey!
You'll see another project soon with them too with a bit of a different tone. For now, here is what I'm sharing today! Who knew these rather bright colors could make a vintage-ish card!?!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Choose happiness
Paper: Very vanilla, hello honey
Ink: Hello honey, bermuda bay, watermelon wonder
Accessories: Linen thread, burlap ribbon, gold sequin trim
It's always great when a "mess" like my grid paper inspires a card!

Fab Friday 66
Hi stampers! Happy Friday! It's been forever, I know! I've stamped a little but but can't seem to get in a blogging groove. Oh well, I'm working on it! But at least I've got this week's Fab Friday challenge for you with NEW goodies! This week is a great sketch!
So I guess it's Christmas in June :-) I LOVE this set and couldn't wait to play with it! The new DSP is great too! Now, if I could just find what happened to my framelit after I used it :( I totally lost it.
