Color Your Season Some More

Hi stampers!  We have been busy with all the grandma's and grandpa's this week so I haven't been blogging, but I do have some time to share with you today.  I kept forgetting to share this awesome card with you!  There is still time to get your hands on the limited release Blended Season Bundle!

I was sold on this bundle for the dies alone, which you can see why in this card!

The stitched shapes are just so great as is that leaf!  A tip for the leaf, is that if you have some raised dots from the release holes, you can just rub them smooth with your bone folder.  I decided to give Brusho a go with the leaf stamp and I was not disappointed.  I embossed in gold and then very carefully shook a bit of the crystals in different colors and combinations.  I tried to stay near the middle to not get a lot on the surrounding paper.  Then, I blended them together a bit and spread the color out with my aquapainter.

The colors turned out to vibrant!  And they looked SO great on that woodgrain DSP!  For the life of the though, I don't remember where my sentiment is from :-)  Sorry!  I made it a long time ago and we've been so busy!

I hope you'll try this bundle and combine it with Brusho if you haven't!

Happy stamping!

Beautiful Day

Hi stampers!  Happy Thursday!  I have a super simple card for you today!  I wanted to show you that you can use this month's special for more than just the Blended Season stuff!

I mean, the stamp set is cute and all, but the dies are worth getting for sure!  I have used them here with Beautiful Day and it's adorable!  I colored my flower with my new Highland Heather blends and I'm sort of in love!  The leaf is with Granny Apple Green.  I used the dies for both the stitched frame and the green leaves.

The background is simple with our new Subtle Embossing Folder (the texture reminds me of our old textured cardstock) and I used a marker to splatter a little ink after embossing.

Have you ordered any of the Blended Season items yet?  Remember, you can earn bonus code coupons this month!  For every $50 you spend, you will get an email with a code that allows you to save $5 next month!

Color Your Season With No Line Watercoloring

Hi stampers!  Today is the day!  You can get your hands on the Blended Season Bundle and the new watercolor pencils!  The stamp set is so cute, the dies are SO great and the pencils are just pretty!

I chose to do a technique for my card today, which I don't usually do...both techniques in general (ha) or this specific one.  I actually didn't use the colored pencils just because I wanted to break out some of our new colors for fall but you totally could do this with the pencils as well.  I did no line watercoloring which seems intimidating but I promise it's not.

For this technique you just ink your stamp in a light colored ink and then watercolor right up to the line.  I used Sahara Sand because I feel like I can see it well and it blends in so you can't see it when you're done.  If you haven't tried no line watercolor, this is a great set to start with!  Get your today!!!

It's going to be fall before we know it!  EEK!  Well...maybe not here in Oklahoma, lol!

Still Christmas in July

Hi stampers!  Merry Christmas in July once again!  Seriously, this bundle is so great!  Don't forget that you can get your hands on this bundle and the coordinating watercolor pencils on August 1st.  Which let's not talk about how quickly that is approaching!  Where did July go???  Also, I've totally been calling it by the wrong name, LOL!  It's Blended Seasons and not whatever else I was saying.  DUH!

Anyway, I was inspired by a fellow demo, Sue Vine, for this card.  I've mentioned before, I just love this classic sentiment!

I think that I really stamped the holly upside down of how it should be but I made it work.  And that bell was easy to cut out thanks to the framelits!  And how cute is that little stitching accent I used from the new stitched set of dies???  Don't forget about those little accents!

Speaking of Christmas once again, I'll get to see the Holiday Catalog this afternoon!  You know I've cleared my calendar :-)  Let me know if you want one and I'll get it sent!  Tomorrow is the last day for me to do that for you!

Happy stamping!
