Boo....I'm Back

Hi stampers!  Happy Tuesday!  It is Tuesday, right?  Ha!  This last week has been crazy.  Ian got a tummy bug and then we went back to Illinois for my mom's birthday and our annual trek to The Great Pumpkin Patch.  We usually go back for about a week but we only stayed three days this time so we packed a lot of fun in a few days!  That makes for a tired mom when there's two 8-hour drives involved!  Then, when we got back, Ian had a field trip so it's just been busy, busy.  Plus, we have another trip coming up that we're trying to get ready for (as in mom is doing everything, haha).  Anyway, I hope to be able to work ahead to have stuff to share with you!  Things didn't go according to plan with Ian getting sick and then my parents got rid of their internet (who does that)!  So anyway....here I am, I hope!

Here's todays card.  It's pretty simple!  I combined Wonderfully Wicked with some of the other Halloween stuff!  Bats and cats ;-)

I'm trying to share all the Halloween things but I gotta say, I'm ready (stamping wise at least) to go full on Christmas mode!  It's my favorite to stamp for.  But, I still have more Halloween goodies leading up to the actual day so stay tuned!

If you're looking for the supplies, you can now find those over on my FB page thanks to the new SU platform!

Fab Friday 174

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  I'm not going to lie, I hate this card, lol!

I had a bad flare up of my occipital neuralgia yesterday so it is what it is.  At least I managed to stamp something!  It just didn't turn out quite as I pictured and I chose to go rest instead of a redo ;-)

Here's the challenge!

And here's what I made.

Make sure to check out the rest of the team and play along with us!

Halloween Hoot

Hi stampers!  Happy Thursday!  I'm sharing another card today from my live video on World Card Making Day.  You can find that video and the supplies used for the card in my FB group!

It's not often that I think I have a really fantastic idea but I think this one is pretty nifty!  I thought this little owl in Check You Out and these books would work perfectly with the book pattern in the Monster Bash DSP!  See for yourself!

I also love these colors!  I wouldn't normally put them together for Halloween but they work!   And I love that they are unexpected!  I cut all my books and the owl out and popped them up on dimensionals.  I think those books on the DSP could be cute cut out for accents as well!  I probably just gave away my genius idea, hehe!

Take look at your stamps and find unconventional ways to incorporate sets into holiday cards!

Sparkly Spider

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  Quick post today with a cute card I made with the Monster Bash Suite.

There are a couple of items I didn't use in the suite on my card but I do have!  Did you know you can get all of the items using only one item number if you want them all???  Pretty nifty!

My sentiment is from the September My Paper Pumpkin Kit and there are still some available as of this post in the online store!  I colored my jars with Blends and that DSP is fabulous because it's all worn looking and I didn't have to do a thing!

It's hard to see in the photograph but I used our Shimmery Crystal Effects on the spider and he's so cute!  If spiders can be cute!

And can you see where I goofed on this card???  I accidentally stamped on watercolor paper in Memento ink so my Blends bled a little bit on the paper but it worked I guess.  I MEANT to use staz-on and watercolor but I just went with it ;-)

Baroque and Boos!

Hi stampers!  Happy Thursday!  It's like 60 out and FINALLY feels kind of like fall!!!  Woohoo!  I. Am. Here. For. It.  I'm also here for this cute and spooky Halloween card!

I used my Basic Patterns Decorative Masks to sponge a background on.  I love this one, it's like a baroque pattern.  It's so spooky and extra spooky, I think, if you omit parts of it!

My image is embossed in black and then I just did a little watercoloring!  You can find all the supplies linked in my FB group, make sure to join!  I'm switching over to a group over my page because FB doesn't like to show you posts from pages so you'll be sure to see all the things if you join the group, they are much more user friendly!  You can also set your notification settings the way you want them!

I'm Baaaaack

Hi stampers!  It's been quiet around here hasn't it?  I've been busy and then I've also been dealing with some neck and headaches.  I'm feeling ok today so I'm trying to get alllll the things that have fallen by the wayside, done!!!!  I thought I'd share this card really quick!

Isn't it spooky?  I did a similar one last Halloween and I thought this little die from Spooktaular Bash looked just like a tombstone!  Add a creepy sunset and done!

I added a little bit of shimmer paint for more spooky effects!

I'm going to test out not doing the supply list anymore.  Our new webstore has a function where you can find the products on my FB post so if you're looking for supplies, just head over to BadaBingPaperCrafting if you have questions about any products that were used!

Wicked Spiders

Hi stampers!  Happy Friday!  I'm using the Wonderfully Wicked Stamp Set again.  I forgot I'd made this way back before I went to Illinois and it's the perfect time to share since the Stampin' Through the Catalog Challenge yesterday was this stamp set!

I actually only used the sentiment stamps and then incorporated the Wicked Dies.  I don't really like spiders, in fact, I hate them (and some BIG ones live in Oklahoma....yikes) but these guys are pretty cute!

I like the combination of black, gray, grape and mango for Halloween, too!  The Monster Bash DSP may not be in the same suite as this bundle but it sure works great!

I'm off to try to stay out of the way of the painters who are here to paint my cabinets!  Eeeeeeeeppppp!  I'm so excited!

Wonderfully Wicked

Hi stampers!  Happy Thursday!  It still feels weird to write that with the long weekend.  I am so confused!  Usually going to the gym and doing different classes helps me keep my days straight but with the installation of my new cabinets, I haven't been able to do that either.  Hopefully I'll get straightened out next week!

Anyway, I'm sharing another Halloween card today.  I used Wonderfully Wicked for the Stampin' Through The Catalog Challenge this week!  I'm loving their challenges, it's really helping me to USE the sets I have!  Wonderfully Wicked is a super fun set and I've combined it here with the Ornate Frames Dies.  While they aren't a bundle, they work great together!

I love that little cat silhouette.  I did a Smoky Slate wash behind him, let it dry then splattered it and stamped him.  I probably should have used the Stamparatus since I was stamping on watercolor paper which has some texture, but I didn't think of it.  My panel is also watercolor paper and was splattered then spritzed.

Happy Holiday Catalog Day

Hi stampers!  Happy hump day!  It is Wednesday, right?  A three day weekend always gets me!  But I'm pretty sure it is because today is the day you can order from the 2019 Holiday Catalog!

I just adore this catalog!  Even though it's almost 100 here, September always feels like fall to me!  And since it's September, I thought I better get a move on making Halloween stuff!  This catalog has the cutest Halloween goodies!  The Spooktacular Bash Bundle is just the cutest and those frames will see a lot of use outside of halloween!

When I saw the little potion bottles, I knew I had to have this bundle.  I've had these guys colored and cut out on my desk for a while now just waiting to make it onto a card.  I also thought they'd look super cute in frames, it feels kind of Harry Potter inspired!  I saw a few other stampers doing this so they beat me, hehe!

I actually colored them in with the Pigment Sprinkles.  Those colors are SO vibrant.  I used a little watercolor pallet to make my colors.  You don't need much powder at all or much water!  These are so concentrated!  IF you get too much water or color you can try to blot with a paper towel.  Just a little tip.  My splatters were done with my black marker and Basic Gray.  My sentiment is from To Every Season which is a super cute stamp set that covers a lot of holidays!  Real bang for your buck there!

Also starting today, is the DSP sale!  You can find a select list of papers in the online store that are buy three, get one free!  Of course, I'm not organized enough to have any projects done with them right now.  We can pretend it's because I'm forced out of my stamp studio but we all know that's just me :-)

It's also an exciting time around here because I'm getting cabinets installed in my stamp studio, which is why my stamp stupid is displaced. You can see some sneak peeks over on my instagram account!  I'm hoping being more organized helps me stamp more and be more creative!  This card was made in a makeshift are in my living room which I actually kind of like (lol) but it can't stay there!

Mailable Monday - Holiday 2019 First Sneak Peek

Hi stampers and happy Monday!  I have a sneak peek from the upcoming 2019 Holiday Catalog today!  It comes out September 4th!  If you have ordered from me in the last 12 months, you should be getting one!  If you need one, let me know!

I'll still be sharing Annual Catalog creations mixed in with the Holiday stuff so don't worry if one or the other isn't your thing!  There will be plenty of each in the coming weeks!

I went with something super simple to start because I've been limited on time!  This card uses a notecard and the To Every Season Bundle which is a super cute multi season/holiday stamp set and a little punch pack.  This bundle is great for the beginner stamper and covers a wide range of the season from fall to Halloween, winter and Christmas, and even Valentine's day!

Of course I started with Halloween because who can resist these cute bats??????

One other little sneaky peek is that Black Scalloped Ribbon, so fun!  I hope you enjoyed this peek!  If you want to see more, I did a little unboxing video of my order!
