Pick a Pattern
Hi stampers! I have a card today with very little stamping. Don't get me wrong, I love stamping BUT the pick a pattern paper is so cute that you barely have to! The only things I stamped here are the hello (using thoughtful banners) and the little circle background on the stitched circle.
The cute critters are cut out from the DSP! Aren't they just too cute? I also would never put the colors together from this DSP on my own but they totally work!

Old and New
Hi stamper! I think I've mentioned before that one of the great benefits to being a demonstrator is the pre-orders for our catalogs. You get to order items a full month ahead of time which gives you more time to play (or sit and stare at your stuff if you're me, LOL)! Seriously though, I love getting another month out of everything and I LOVE combining "old" stuff with the new stuff like I did here in this card.
This card uses the circle stamp from pieces & patterns. I combined it with the little plus element from the hello lovely PL accessory pack along with the new lime in color which is quickly becoming my favorite color. It's so vibrant and looks so great with so many of our colors! I also used tranquil tide and I'm loving the combo of the two new in colors plus emerald envy!
This stamp set is part of a suite with DSP so I wanted to make sure to create something without using the colors in the suite. I think sometimes we get stuck ONLY using the colors in a suite, at least I know I do. But the options are really endless!

Rrawwwwr
Hi stampers! So I places a pre-order and next day aired it! And I've barely touched it, lol! Figures! I'm trying but hating most everything I come up with so the name of my post could be related to that.
It could also be related to the one card that did turn out ok. I love this little dino and rawwwwr is the sound Ian makes when you ask him what one says :-)

My photos are still not where I'd like them to be. I just can't find a good place to take them, this house is bright yet dark at the same time if that makes ANY kind of sense. I'd started taking them in our living room in Chicago where we had two big transom windows that let in all the light. We don't have that here. I'll keep working on it!
Got any tried and true photo tips? Going outside isn't really an option because while I came from "the windy city", the wind has not stopped blowing here. Ever. LOL!
