Hi stampers. So this post was supposed to post on Friday but it seems it didn't. Whoops. I took a quick and impromptu trip to my mom's over the weekend so I didn't check. Sorry if you came from Instagram looking for this card! And now I'm not sure how much I'll have to show you this week since I didn't get to stamp all weekend. Anyway, here's what I THOUGHT was publishing:
Another quick post as I'm not feeling all that great over here. And I don't really like the way this card turned out but maybe some of you will :-)
There's kind of a lot going on! And I made this when I still didn't have the coordinating stamp set. Now that I do, have I used it???? LOL!
Happy stamping!

Hola Ombre Pads
Hi stampers! I have something a little different for you today! I have a whole grouping of cards! I LOVE the just keep swimming set in the Occasions catalog! I totally overlooked it at first but then I noticed the "idea" blurb for the set in the catalog. It was designed to use with our ombre ink pads but not traditionally. It was made for each small stamp to fit on each of the variant little ink pads! How fun is that????
I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of the ombre pads BUT THIS, this I can get behind. I may have ordered the two I didn't have once I really paid attention to this set! I did a little live video over on my Facebook Page the other night to show you how to do this. It's super fun and super easy with this 2-step photopolymer set. I also really love the color combo they used in the catalog and based my designs off of that! You'll want to start with the most solid stamp and the lightest color you want to use and go from there. Check out my video if you need a visual!
Ok, so if you watch the video, you'll see my little mistake here. I'm kind of happy I made it because now we know ;-) The little blob in the middle of my monster was from me stamping with too much pressure SO be careful when you ink and stamp his little eye, mouth, and legs! I think this little guy is pretty cute! My background is embossed with the circle embossing folder and then I just took a sponge dauber and used it to give the raised parts a bit more dimension.
Ok, so this may not have been the best color combo for this particular image :-) Why? Because this one kind of looks like a hot dog and bun and I'm not the only person who's said that lol! I still think it's cute and I LOVE macarons so I'm letting it slide but from now on, I'm using non-hot dog colors! Ha!
This one is pretty simple and this set is also great for making a background just like I did here! It's hard to tell from the photo, but I added some wink of stella to make my main image sparkle and shine!
And make sure you take a second look at this set and the ombre pads if you haven't already!

My favorite is probably the gummy bear, he's so cute! His little face is just so sweet! This one is pretty simple and straightforward!
I hope you enjoyed this set of cards! I had a lot of fun making them and they came together really quick with his cute set! Make sure to follow me on FB in case I do some more live videos ;-)And make sure you take a second look at this set and the ombre pads if you haven't already!

Everyday Hero
Hi stampers! I'm finally getting around to using and sharing the Everyday Hero stamp set. It's SO CUTE! It's no secret that our household is a little geeky. We love all things Star Wars, superhero, scifi, and the like. So, when I saw this adorable little set in the Occasions catalog, I had to have it!
This card will likely find it's way to Ian's dada for putting up with both of us :-) I'll have to work on my stamping with the buildings there. I was in a hurry and too lazy to redo it the other night, whoops! Many times, when I stamp in black, I ink up in versa mark first and then even emboss with clear powder after if I'm feeling super motivated that day;-) The VM really helps the black stamp a little more crisp, especially on photopolymer stamps.

Super Duper CASE
Hi stampers. So I tried to resit the super duper stamp set in the Occasions catalog. And I failed. It's super cute and will make creat, CAS and mailable cards! I failed miserably at the bringing birthday's back movement (after starting out strong) so I'm going to get organized and try again just a little late!
I also failed slightly with this case of one of the cards on page 12. I used the wrong stamp in Bermuda bay. Oh well. I'll have to try to recreate the exact one again! I really love these colors together! Bright and fun!

Love Is In The Air
Hi stampers. Quick post here, things may be getting a little crazy around here quickly but I'll save that for another day. Also, I'm afraid my mac may be dying! Eek! Jon has been trying to convince me to get a new one but dang, those suckers are expensive! And I need more stamps! LOL!
I made this card with the lift me up bundle and I kind of love it! And we all need a little more love, right? Not really a mailable Monday card but it's what I had to share today :-)
See my little bows I made with the baker's twine from the cupcakes and carousel accessory pack. Sometimes I think I'm clever ;-) I do really love how this one turned out though, especially my watercolor wash and then stamping the clouds over that.
