Merry Mistletoe

Hi stampers!  I've mentioned before I really like the Christmas Happiness stamp set but I haven't used it much.  I changed that last weekend when I whipped this card up.  The set doesn't scream elegance to me but this card is just that, elegant.

I doubled up on my doilies.  Can you believe I was out of doilies for a while?  I used the last ones I was making my display samples and literally cried!  They can really make a card!  Our snowflake ones are gorgeous too, I really love the color of our gold ones!

Hopefully it's feeling more merry over here today...the near 80 temperatures yesterday were pretty weird for this time of year for a girl from Illinois!  I mean we get warm days but come on!!!!  At least my cards can be Christmasy if the weather can't be!

Mailable Monday

Hi stampers!  It's the start of a new week and more Christmas preparations to make :-)  Where is the year going?  I got some Christmas crafting done over the weekend although it's never enough!

I have so many things that I haven't made enough with or used to their full potential, or I haven't used at all, like this bundle!  The Night of Bethlehem Bundle is amazing and I love stamp sets that highlight the real reason for the season!

I wanted to do this one in all neutral tones and add in some vellum. In the photo, the back of the city appears white but it's actually cut from vellum and looks amazing!  The front layer of the city has been sponged with a brayer to appear darker than the kraft cardstock.  A simple sentiment and silhouette in basic black and a champaign star finish it off!

It was pretty simple and I kind of love it!  Hope you do too!

On My Way

Hi stampers!  I'm blogging from the airport!  I've been scrambling to get ready for Salt Lake and I was falling behind so at least I can post while I wait thanks to free wifi!  It's going to be odd to see things from the upcoming Occasions catalog while I'm personally getting into the Christmas spirit lol!  Such weird timing now!

Anyway because it's that time, here's a cute Christmas card!  I had to have the Christmas Happiness stamp set because it's so cute and super easy to make simple cards!

I love how the lights kind of glow with this set!  My pinecone is quickly fussy cut and I stamped off once for the base.

Ok safe travels to anyone headed to the Mother Land today!  And I'll try to post updates when I can but I don't have wifi in my room and we can't share much until after the weekend.
