Poor Annual Catalog

Hi stampers!  Is anyone else bad about neglecting the annual catalog most of the time?  I mean, it's hard not to with all the fun seasonal catalog stuff but there's so much good stuff in the annual catalog and just never enough time!  I'm making a concerted effort this year to TRY to spread the love around for my annual catalog stamps!

I've had this background sitting on my desk for MONTHS so I decided to pull out Lift Me Up set and whip something up and get that dang scrap off my desk (that needs to be another concerted effort lol).    My balloon didn't stamp very well but I kind of like it, I think it looks a little vintage all smeared up like that so I went with it...also note: I was too lazy to stamp it again ;-)

The background is something you've seen before.  This was one of my attempts for my corporate Artisan post with the unicorn.  It's just markers splattered on water color paper and then spritzed.  For a finishing touch, I threw on some of our Glitter Enamel Dots.  I need to use them more.  They come in four colors BUT they have a bunch of different gradients in each color so you can pair them with almost any other color!  While I did use them with Berry Burst here, a lot of them look really good with other colors.

I'll come back and add supplies later today.

Love Is In The Air

Hi stampers.  Quick post here, things may be getting a little crazy around here quickly but I'll save that for another day.  Also, I'm afraid my mac may be dying!  Eek!  Jon has been trying to convince me to get a new one but dang, those suckers are expensive!  And I need more stamps!  LOL!

I made this card with the lift me up bundle and I kind of love it!  And we all need a little more love, right?  Not really a mailable Monday card but it's what I had to share today :-)

See my little bows I made with the baker's twine from the cupcakes and carousel accessory pack.  Sometimes I think I'm clever ;-)  I do really love how this one turned out though, especially my watercolor wash and then stamping the clouds over that.

You Soar Above

Hi stampers!  I have a really simple but cute card for you today with the lift me up bundle.

The balloon is night of navy ink on crumbs cake cardstock although it's hard to tell in the photo.  The clouds are smokey slate.  I I used a cherry cobbler marker in the sentiment stamp to only ink up the portion that I wanted.  This could make a really great thank you or congratulations card or even a Valentine!  I love cards I can pull out of my stash when I need and put just the right sentiment on the inside!!!!!  I really love the rather neutral combo here of very vanilla, smokey slate, crumb cake and just a pop of navy and cherry cobbler!

This is what you do...

...when you buy all the things in the cupcakes and carousels suite EXCEPT the stamp set!  LOL!  Hi stampers!  I held off on it because I was trying to be "good" and not order too much and because I'm still not sure if I love it or need it.  I love the sentiments but I'm not sure if I'll put the rest of it to good use...so I'm still on the fence.  But I love the embellishment kit and my Artisan box made me love the DSP stack :-)

But of course, what I love about SU is that so many products work together seamlessly and you don't need everything (yes, I know HUGE eye roll because we DO need everything...but you get my point, right?) to make great projects!

I used the lift me up bundle here with the cupcakes and carousels paper!  There's no stamp for the largest cloud and it looked a bit bare so I sponged the edges with pool party ink.  The sentiment is stamped in Bermuda bay ink and the tag has gold accents although both are hard to see from the photo.

This is a great mailable card too!  I kind of failed at the whole #imbringingbirthdays back thing last year so I'm going to try again this year!  I think I got to March...sigh...you all know organization is NOT my strong point!

Happy stamping!
