Laser Birds

Hi stampers, happy Thursday! What do lasers and birds have in common? Well, nothing aside from this card :-) I finally used the gorgeous Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards & Tin. They are so pretty and delicate! They are a part of the Bird Ballad Suite so that's what I used them with here but they would look great with so many other products.

I kept this card simple so the laser cut details could stand out!

I lined it with Balmy Blue and added some Rococo Rose accents. I didn't expect to like a rose color as much as I do. My little scallop border is from the Stitched Be Mine Dies. I almost forgot about those!

Rainy Days Are For The Birds

Hi stampers! If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen these birds already! I didn't have anything to share yesterday but I did have them colored in. This is what I made with them! The stamp set and dies are in a bundle and coordinate perfectly to cut out this image with a fun label shape! I miss some of our label dies that have retired but I really like this new shape!

I colored with my Blends on Crumb Cake which is fun to do and looks really cool! Let me remind you that I am NOT a good colorer but these make it look like I might be! So if I can do it, anyone can!

I also think this suite was made for the Subtle Embossing Folder! It added just the right texture and I added a little more by splattering some ink from my Crumb Cake Marker.

It's rainy here today so I couldn't get a great photo. I had to edit it quite a bit to get it to show more of a true Crumb Cake color so please don't think there is something wrong with my hand over there, LOL!

Blue Bird Ballad - Sneak Peek

Hi stampers! I know, I know! I've been majorly slacking! I've just not been into stamping or blogging lately. I don't know why but sometimes it just happens. BUT, Onstage was motivating as always so I'm going to try to pick things back up. The retiring list always makes me sad but I'm always excited for new stuff, too! Like the Bird Ballad Suite. I got to play with the stamp set for the make and take and was lucky enough to be able to take the stamp set home from our table supplies! I also won the Birch Background Stamp as my prize patrol!

My mom inspired this one since she loves birds, especially bluebirds!

I've paired it with a couple of retiring products and a couple that are carrying over! I'm sad to see Banners For You retiring so I made sure to dig it out for at least one more go-round! The Well Said Bundle is carrying over BUT it will no longer be at a bundle discount in the new Annual Catalog so if you want the 10% off, get it now!

I'm also super sad the current DSP 6x6 color family stacks are retiring and changing prints. I LOVE the current ones. Oh well. Get ready to see a lot of that paper since I have a lot to use ;-)

I'm going to try to still stamp with a lot of outgoing products since I need to use them up! And I hope to sneak in some sneak peeks as well!
