Fab Friday 96
Hi stampers! At least we have Fab Friday to get me posting :-) Happy Friday! It's a happy one here since granny is here for a visit, we've been having a lot of fun and I got to run downstairs to stamp a little. This week is a little color challenge for you!
I thought these colors would make some great succulents and I wasn't wrong! I've been doing mainly holiday stamping so it was good to do something different as well!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Live, love, grow
Paper: Very vanilla, emerald envy, fabulous foil designer acetate
Ink: Basic black, delightful dijon, emerald envy
Accessories: Lots of labels framelits, linen thread
Don't look too close or you'll see my sentiment is a little crooked, whoops :-) That's the beauty of a handmade card though, right? And a quick word about that acetate...it comes with a clear protective backing that you peel off. Some of it was peeling off and I thought oh no, it's coming apart! But whew, it wasn't and I realized you had to peel it off, duh!
Make sure to check out the rest of the design team and leave them some love too! And then play along of course! I can't wait to see what you make with these rich colors!

Pretty Pinecone
Hi stampers! So I haven't felt much like blogging lately...so I haven't, ha! Seriously, I'm in a weird place right now as I'm stamping a little but I just have a lot to do lately and feeling overwhelmed and tired at night so I've been resting after Ian goes to bed. So I apologize for not sharing much. I realized a long time ago that I'm never going to be a perfect stamper and blogger and my stuff is going to come in spurts so I need to not stress out about it. I'll post when I can/feel like it :-) I'm trying to get more organized but I'm not making a lot of progress, ha!
Anyway, I have a simple card to share today. If you were a part of my Facebook holiday catalog launch party you will have seen some details about how I made the pinecone. Basically, I used my nail to turn up all the little triangles on the pinecone and then I hit them all with just a bit of clear wink of Stella so it looks like it's a little frosty! Very pretty in real life! And you really need to work with this die cut a little bit to make the points stand out or it's very flat and lifeless.
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Oh what fun
Paper: Whisper white, crumb cake, early espresso, garden green, warmth & cheer DSP stack
Ink: Craft white, cherry cobbler
Accessories: Clear wink of stella, decorative label punch, pretty pines thinlits, baker's twin trio
Hopefully I'll figure my life out and be back with something else soon :-)

Fab Friday 95
Hi stampers! Happy Friday! Can you believe we are into September already!?!? It's also time for a new challenge over at Fab Friday! Check out this sketch:
And here's what I did with it:
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps:
Paper:
Ink:
Accessories:
I've been wanting to use this die since I got it so I finally sat down and got to work with it! I think it makes a simple yet pretty card! I used some dimensional behind and I stacked two of them together in the center.
Make sure to check out what the rest of the team did and play along with us!
Happy stamping!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Hi stampers! Today begins the most wonderful time of the year, at least for me! The Stampin' Up Holiday Catalog is live today!
You can now get your hands on all the yummy fall, Halloween and holiday products! These really are my favorite occasions and holidays to make cards for. If you need a catalog you can see it over on the side bar to the right or let me know and I'll get you a copy. It's also not too late to join my virtual kick off party! You'll get to see some of my samples earlier than on the blog and I'll be live streaming tips and tricks! You don't want to miss a party that you can have in your PJ's do you?
My card today is a super simple one and it would be great if you mass produce Christmas cards! Simple and easy but I think it's pretty too!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Wonderful year, stitched with cheer
Paper: Whisper white, cherry cobbler, emerald envy
Ink: Cherry cobbler, emerald envy
Accessories: Holly berry builder punch
I LOVE this stamp set and this sentiment and the fonts! Big stamps like this make great easy cards! I used the holly stamps from the stitched with cheer set for a little accent. See, quick and simple!
If you'd like to place an order please use the hostess code GSJPM7BG when you order.
Again, hope to see you at my FaceBook party!
