Happy World Card Making Day!

Hi stampers and happy World Card Making Day!  Make sure to make a card today and send it to someone!  Everyone loves some happy mail so I'm deeming Monday World Card Sending Day :-)  Here at my house instead of cards we'll be making Halloween banners and hopefully I'll be making some cards after my class.  Hopefully because I'm exhausted.  The dog didn't let me get much sleep while I was at my mom's the other night and then I guess I got used to sleeping alone because the Mr. has been in Budapest all week.  I knew it wouldn't be a good night when I went to bed and found him all the way over on my side, ha!!!!

Anyway, I should have planned better and had a card class today but I guess I forgot about WCMD!  Don't forget you can get my exclusive class for FREE online by purchasing the supplies through my online store!

You can find the details HERE!

And now for a LOT MORE stuff!  In honor of the "holiday" I'm going into blogging/sharing overdrive because who doesn't love to look at pretty stuff, right?  And because I'm home and it doesn't take 10 minutes to upload each picture like at the farm, hooray!  First up is a card with one of my all-time favorite sketches!  I think maybe it was a retrosketch but I can't remember.  I'm sure it will look familiar...I use it a lot!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps:  Oh hello
Paper:  Very vanilla, pear pizzazz, afternoon picnic DSP
Ink:  Perfect plum
Accessories:  Subtles candy dots, pear pizzazz taffeta ribbon, very vintage designer buttons, linen thread

I feel a fall version coming on soon ;-)

Next, how about some happy?  I LOVE this stamp as you know and I pretty much love everything about this card!  It's a great way to use the acetate sheet from the DSP too!

Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps:  Yippie skippie, mosaic madness
Paper:  Whisper white, bermuda bay, summer starfruit, strawberry slush, quatrefancy, in color 2013-2015 DSP stack
Ink:  Bermuda bay, strawberry slush
Accessories:  Chalk talk framelits, large rhinestones, bright candy dots

And now, how about a little bonus in the form of another convention display project?  Yes, I still have lots of those left to share!!!  If you're wondering why all of my display cards are on a little easel it's because they are only card fronts and not whole cards so they don't stand up :-)

And finally SU released yet another nifty product yesterday and I didn't get to share it with the Fab Friday post and being busy with my mom and going to pick up the world traveler and all!  The new Pop & Place kit is a super quick and easy way to add a handmade touch to all your Christmas gifts!  Even if you're not a cardmaker or scrapbooker you can still get crafty with this kit!

There are a couple of options offered in bundles so make sure to check those out.  You can get everything you need including a clear block and ink spot in the "big kit".  You can get everything separate as well or just the stamp set and tag booklet.  You can find it all in my store HERE!  Make sure it says Mindy Bingamon on the top right hand side, ok? :-)

Here are your options:
134975Pop & Place Holiday Gift Tags Book$9.95
134623Christmas Tagables Photopolymer Stamp Set$13.95

Ok, I think that's it!  Sorry for the overload but hey, it's a "holiday" right? :-)

Another display stample

Hi stampers!  I thought I'd share another one of my display samples today.  How about a fun and cheery card since it's FRIDAY!!!!!  I have to admit I'm a little sad not to be working a football game tonight as I miss my kids and think they have a chance of winning some games this year but I'm happy to not have to be out in the horrible heat and work until who knows when tonight (or into the morning and then work again when the sun comes up!).  I wish my kids good luck and if their first game wasn't out of town I'd be going!

Anyway, here is one of the first cards I made for the displays.  I got the cycle celebrations suite in my box of goodies and it's probably not something I would have gotten on my own so it was kind of fun to try to come up with ideas for it!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps:  Cycle celebrations
Paper:  Whisper white, bermuda bay, raspberry ripple, birthday basics DSP
Ink:  Bermuda bay, raspberry ripple
Accessories:  Stitched summer starfruit ribbon, basic rhinestones, labels collection frameits, stripes embossing folder

Bicycle images are kind of all the rage right now so this card and set are right on trend.  I love the vintage look of the stamp and the bikes on the paper!

Don't ask me how many times I had to tie that bow to get it to look right:-)

And don't forget to sign up for My Paper Pumpkin by tomorrow to get two months for HALF price.  They also make great gifts....hint hint ;-)

Happy stamping!

Change is good

Hi stampers.  Yes, I've been absent for a while and I'm sorry but I'm trying to get my life together :-)  I've been in a bad place for a while due to a lot of reasons.  So, after much thought and discussion with my hubby and family I turned in my two weeks notice at work last Thursday.  Yikes!  I'm kind of sad to leave (mainly since football has started and I will miss my kids) but work was unnecessarily stressful and it was way past time to go.  My wonderful hubs has been telling me to quit for a LONG time.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet (other than take a few weeks to rest and refresh and focus on getting fit and happy and back to "me") but I think the stress of being "poor" (LOL....not really....we'll be fine for a while but will have to change a lot of things and that's ok) will be much less than the stress of a job that I have started to hate.  I'm excited for the future and to see what happens.  I'm also hoping that the stress reduction will help other "efforts" as there is no happy news there yet.  I do appreciate everyone's thoughts and messages and cards and everything!  You guys are the best!

Anyway, one avenue that I want to explore it so possibly make a little something out of my SU hobby. In a perfect world I'd either work directly for SU (can you say dream job????) or be a business demo and do stamping as my full time job!  Will that happen?  I don't know but I'm going to give it a whirl now that I'll actually have some time to focus on it!  So, hopefully I'll have time to blog regularly and be looking for new and exciting things from me like classes!  Not being able to meet my minimums and stay a demo is probably one of my top fears so hopefully I can at least pay for my hobby!  Honestly it's probably part of the reason I've stayed at work for so long...silly I know...but that's me :-)  Even when/if I get a new job I'm hopeful it won't take up as much time and energy as my old job so I can continue to enjoy my hobby and have classes and what not!  So, while I don't want to be pushy/annoying please expect to see more "selling" and promotion on my blog.  I know this turns some people off but I really want to explore this avenue.  If you don't like it just skip to the pretty pictures, ok? -)  And if you have anything you'd like to see or ideas let me know!

So, since I've been gone sooo loong how about another display stamper project?  This is one of the 3-D items I made for the suite I received (it was cycle celebrations obviously).  As soon as I saw the suite I knew I had to do a gift bag!

I really liked the way this one turned out!

Hopefully I'll have more time to stamp and share soon!  This week may be nuts with finishing up work and my BFF's wedding is coming up this next weekend!

Happy stamping!
