Hi stampers! So I have yet another card with the succulents. Sorry if you're tired of them but I just love them! This one's pretty simple but may be my favorite yet! I also love the globe set and the sentiments in that set. One of them worked perfectly for my little scene here.
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Live love grow, the places you'll go
Paper: Whisper white, basic black, crumb cake, always artichoke
Ink: Basic black, perfect plum, always artichoke, mint macaron
Perfect plum and always artichoke makes one check of a succulent, doesn't it? I did the rock and roll technique although I think a sponge dauber may work better.
I'm still kind of mourning the loss of my hard drive (I KNOW I should have had it backed up on time machine....but anyway) and I need to download some new fonts and different things to get up and running like before.
Happy stamping!

A Squirley Birthday
Hi stampers! So I was able to go get my Mac yesterday and even get back just in time to tuck old man Ian in for bed. That's the good news, the bad news is that everything on my hard drive is gone. And I'm not smart or knowledgeable about techie stuff so I didn't have things backed up. I really shouldn't be allowed a computer or smart phone, lol! This post is once again later than I intended due to not being able to open my editing software for some unknown reason. I finally got it working so now we can proceed.
I made this card for a friend who happens to love squirrels. However, I have NOT gotten it in the mail yet along with months of my birthday cards...I'm working on that.... ;-)
I based this one off of the card I made recently from the fox bundle video from SU. It's pretty simple but pretty cute!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Foxy friends, party with cake
Paper: Whisper white, crumb cake
Ink: Going gray, soft suede, calypso coral, mint macaron
Accessories: Fox builder punch, subtle enamel shapes, peaceful pines framelits, circle framelits
That little squirrel is just TOO cute! I love his little face and whiskers!

Mailable Monday
Hi stampers! I wanted to have this post all ready to auto-post but the hard drive on my Mac decided to up and die yesterday so I had to spend a good portion of my day driving to and from the Apple store and I spent most of the rest of the time being annoyed that I had to do that (on our 6th anniversary no less), ha!
I did get some good stamping time in on Saturday though, so at least there's that! I made a number of cards with the succulents so better get used to seeing those ;-)
This one is super cute, super easy, and super easy to mail!

Ink: Basic black, crumb cake, old olive, always artichoke, mint macaron
Accessories: Linen thread
I did a quick water color wash on the background although it doesn't show up well in the photo (I'm on my hubby's computer and not quite sure how to use his editing software). I'm also having a hard time getting that taller stamp to stamp well, I may have to get it replaced so please don't look too hard at that one ;-)
Hopefully I'll be able to go get my computer soon and be back to normal!
Happy stamping!

Succulent Obsessed!
Hi stampers! I haven't been posting much on the weekends (or at all the past few weeks...we've been busy) but I just couldn't wait to share this card. I LOVE the live, love, grow set and I'm kind of obsessed with succulents. While I haven't gotten any to grow yet (I'm not sure where to put them where little hands couldn't make a mess of them) I've been looking at them on Instagram. They come in so many varieties and PRETTY color combinations!
This set came the other day and I sat down pretty quick just to play around with colors. I stayed pretty basic with greens but I can't wait to try other more colorful combos. Seriously, search for images of succulents! Some are so pretty they don't even look real!
This card is super simple and I couldn't love it more! And the set makes it super simple since it's clear and you can see right through it!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Live, love, grow
Paper: Whisper white, basic black
Ink: Basic black, always artichoke, garden green, mint macaron
So far, my favorite combo is mint macaron outlined in always artichoke which is the left most plant here. The middle plant is always artichoke but the more solid image was stamped off once. I can't remember exactly what I did for the right plant but I THINK it's garden green stamped off and then the outline is cucumber.
Are you into the succulent craze? Did you get this set? Is it on your list?

Fab Friday 90
Hi stampers! TGIF! I can't believe I'm saying this but how is it Friday already and I kind of wish summer would slow down! It felt like June and nice weather and summer would never get here but now it has and the month is almost over! Summer with the little guy is just so much fun and I have so much I'd like to do and it's all going too fast!
I still haven't stamped much this week, mainly because I'm way too old to stay up until 2 something in the morning like we did at my oldest friend's wedding! I've known her since pre-school and she was "sorry" the bar across from the hotel was only open until 3am and we had to leave the reception hall at 12:45...hahaha!!! Sorry???? I was going to be sorry if I was asleep by 9:30 like normal ;-) We made it until two something but I was basically asleep standing up and my feet were not happy after dancing in my heels! So, I'm still trying to play catch up by lounging on the couch and going to bed early, ha!
Anyway I did manage to make a little something for this week's Fab Friday challenge! We'll get to the new in colors one of these days, but we couldn't pass up a good patriotic color combo this time of year! 'Merica!!!!!!
Of course, you can make any theme you like but I chose to go with the obvious!
I used the same idea from my display stamper application a few weeks ago. The sunburst die makes a great firework! I recently got the new label stamp set and punch so the sentiment was perfect! The stars are from the perpetual birthday calendar set and I may have thrown a few retired candy dots on there just cuz they were festive and I have a lot left!
Make sure you check out everyone else's awesome creations and play along with us!
Happy stamping!

Mailable Monday...on Friday
Hi stampers. I'm struggling to create again this week which is why mums been the word around here. Ian is going to bed later now, as in 7:30 (ha...he's been an old man as far as bedtime since he was born) and by the time we get him in bed I'm tired and can't seem to get down and make much. I've got all this new stuff and just feel blah! UGH! I also have a swap due soon so I've struggled to design that and then of course I made one with 7 million pieces and steps, lol! I've got to get down and finish them tonight. I meant to last night but my parents are visiting and we went to Six Flags with Ian yesterday. It was so much fun but I was exhausted! We got a season pass though so I guess I better get used to it :-)
Anyway, I did manage this card over the weekend. I love the labeler alphabet set! It's got over one HUNDRED tiny stamps! My dad had a little hand held labeler when I was little and this so reminds me of that. There are so many ideas I have for it!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Labeler alphabet
Paper: Whisper white, basic black, peekaboo peach
Ink: Basic black
Accessories: Playful palette washi tape
My sentiment isn't lined up just perfectly but that's ok...that's the beauty of a hand made card, right? :-)
I have a few tips for this set.
Don't mind my E...I didn't get a great image with it but went with it anyway. An easy fix for this would have been to just stamp the sentiment on another scrap and cut it out but I couldn't be bothered to do that this time, ha!
I'll try to get some stamping done soon and have more to share!

I have a few tips for this set.
- One: As with any photopolymer set, they work best with a pad underneath. I use a peircing mat I got just for this purpose and keep it handy when stamping. You can also use a magazine or our catalog in a pinch!
- Two: Even if you have something pretty simple to spell out, try writing it down and then stamp it backwards starting on the right so that you don't run out of room. Even though "hi there" is pretty simple, I wouldn't put it past me to spell it wrong without a visual to double check myself ;-)

Fab Friday 89
Hi stampers! Happy Friday! It's time for a new challenge over at Fab Friday! I know summer is a busy time, but we'd love to have you play along!
This week is a sketch:
Try as I might, I just couldn't get the ribbon element to work out quite like it does in the sketch...but a sketch is just a suggestion or starting point, right? So here's my little tweak on it.
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Jar of love
Paper: Whisper white, crumb cake, 2016-2018 DSP stack
Ink: Basic black, basic gray, pool party, peekaboo peach
Accessories: Burlap ribbon, pool party stitched ribbon
I took a little liberty with making my fireflies kind of orange but I think it works. I really wanted to use the peach DSP. And this card just makes me happy. I used to catch fireflies and put them in a jar at my granny's farm all the time! I can't wait until Ian can do the same! He has his first mosquito bite, UGH!
Make sure to check out the rest of the DT's samples and play along, ok?
And if you haven't signed up as a new My Paper Pumpkin customer, what are you waiting for? Time is ticking! You only have a few hours left to get your first kit for $5! Here's a fun sneak peek!
You can use this link to sign up!

Casing the Catalog
Hi stampers! I haven't done a lot of creating on my own yet with all my new stuff. I kind of get overwhelmed with what to use with all the new choices, lol! So, there are samples in the catalog I LOVE so I have been busy making some of those and some other projects SU has posted recently. It's a great way to kind of get going!
I LOVE the cover of the catalog so I couldn't wait to case this card. It may be my favorite in the whole catalog!
Isn't it fabulous!!!!???? I originally used the rock and roll technique for the hexagon but I didn't like how severe the demarcation of the ink was. I broke out my sponge daubers and used them to ink it up and it was much better (once I inked up my coral pad, it was dry). If you're not familiar with it, you can pick up ink on the dauber then tap it to your stamp. I liked this better because I could blend the two much better and the effect was much softer! I also never would have combined these two stamp sets but they look great together!
I found this card by SU on pinterest so I thought I'd give it a try too. I really like it! I sponged some white craft ink on the DSP although it's hard ton see in the photo. Isn't it cute? I also used the faceted sequins where they used the flat trim as I like them better.
I'll come back and add the supplies at a later time. Thanks to a friend and her little guy, I got to take Ian to Six Flags today and I'm beat...after only being there about 2 hours, lol!

Resistance is Futile
Hi stampers! So I tried, I tried really hard to resist this stamp set and I just couldn't! I mean, I don't know why anyone would really want to, it's so cute, but I was TRYING to keep my list short...hahahaha! Any who, somehow it made it onto my order and I'm not sorry! Globes are pretty trendy right now, I just picked one up at Target to go on my entryway table. And I keep seeing CUTE hand embellished ones on Etsy!
So, it was one of the first sets I just had to use when my order came. I made a pretty simple card but I like the small details. I embossed the stand in the copper powder. That stuff is so pretty! And I used my aqua painter to spread the ink from the lines on the globe just a little. Remember, a little goes a long way here.
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Places you'll go
Paper: Whisper white, basic black, 2016-2018 in color DSP stack
Ink: Versamark, dapper denim, emerald envy
Accessories: Affectionately yours washi tape, copper embossing powder
I also really love that dapper denim DSP, this diagonal print especially!

So Much To Share
Hi stampers! With ALL the new catalog stuff I got, I'm really struggling to share! It's a good problem to have I suppose! I'm going to try to share all of my creations with you here on my blog but it may not always happen. It's pretty time consuming to photograph, then edit, then post to the blog! And quite honestly I'd rather spend most of that time STAMPING :-) Anyone feel me?????
Make sure you follow Bada Bing Paper Crafting on Facebook since I may post things there that I don't get to here!
So, I know everyone is DYING to see the little fox set, yes? I guess that's what I'll share today and I'll give you a two for one! This is the first card I made. I originally stamped the mushrooms but it just lacked something so later on I went back and cut a few out from the DSP which gave it a bit more dimension and didn't look so flat. The sentiment is from the labeler stamp set and you can use it to make any saying you want! It's like the old label tape thing, know what I'm talking about? My dad had one and labeled like everything, lol!
Stampin Supplies:
Stamps: Labeler alphabet, foxy friends
Paper: Whisper white, crumb cake, early espresso,
Ink: Crumb cake, early espresso, tangerine tango, wild wasabi
Accessories: Fox builder punch
My second card is one that I cased from the SU official video on the fox bundle. I think it's so cute and like a little diorama. I used my aqua painter to put a little hill behind him and the tree which is cut with the perfect pines framelits. The sentiment is from the tin of cards kit. SU used a baby sentiment on theirs which was cute but I didn't have it.
Stampin Supplies:
Stamps: Tin of cards, foxy friends
Paper: Whisper white
Ink: Basic black, early espresso, tangerine tango, calypso coral, emerald envy
Accessories: Perfect pines framelits
There's a lot of little tips for this bundle. I'll try to get a video together either here or over on FB to try to explain a few of them;-) For now, here's a picture to try to explain one of them. While there are separate parts to piece the fox together, you can also stamp any of the critters and cut their face out to use. Does that make sense? I like the little fox head with hair better so I stamped him and just punched him out to place over the more solid one. There's also three sets of eyes and a nose so you want to check with size you want to use first. I chose the "biggest" one here I think.

Jar of Thanks
Hi stampers! Radio silence over here...UNLESS you're on my virtual FaceBook new catalog kick off party! I told you that you didn't want to miss it! It's much quicker and easier to share over there while I'm stamping so that's what I've been doing and I also do so pretty regularly on my business page as well! I got a big box of new catalog goodies on Friday afternoon so it's been keeping me busy!
I was super excited to get the jar set so here's a card with it!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Jar of love
Paper: Whisper white, soft sky, flirty flamingo
Ink: Craft white, basic gray, old olive, blushing bride, soft sky, flirty flamingo
Accessories: Everyday jars framleits, burlap ribbon, flirty flamingo ribbon, mini stapler
I'll come back and add the supplies on Monday, I don't have my catalog handy at the moment ;-) Edited to add: I used a sponge dauber and white craft ink to make the polka dots on the card base.
I did a live video of part of this card to show that I used masking for the flower stems...it was late and I was tired and it didn't go exactly smoothly, ha! But it still made a cute card. I also pulled some of the ink around the bottom of the jar to look like water as well as used my aqua painter to put a little ink outside around the bottom to look like a pool of water. This set is going to be a lot of fun!

Love and Affection for Washi Tape
Hi stampers! Have you placed your order from the new catalog yet? My goodies will be here tomorrow! For today, I have a card I made with pre order items. It's simple and quick and one of my favorite sketches. You've seen it before from me and will likely see it again and I'm not sorry. It's just a great sketch and something I go to when I'm feeling less than creative. Sometimes making a simple card will get the creative mojo flowing and it's one reason I love washi tape!
Washi tape is an inexpensive embellishment and a little goes a long way! The fact that SU makes it in part of a suite makes it super easy to pair with other items as well! Did you know you can carefully pull it up if you don't adhere it straight? It's pretty forgiving! Have you tried washi tape? Do you need to get yourself some on your first order? Probably ;-) Look what you can do.....
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Love and affection
Paper: Crumb cake
Ink: Night of navy
Accessories: Affectionately yours washi tape, decorative label punch, linen thread
So simple but so cute! Right? It's hard to see in the photo but the tape with the dots is actually metallic copper and gives just a bit of glitz!
Thanks for stopping by today! Happy stamping!
